I think I'm the only brony in my college xD. I would like to buy pony stuff, but is not that I'm scared, is that i just can't. Here, in my hometown, they are quite limited pony stuff, usually just at anime expos, athough slowly they are starting to sell more stuff... and lack of money TT.TT
As said shopping online is a good option. Also you can buy from places like comic book stores, board game/hobby stores, hot topics, for your entertainment, and Barnes and Nobels instead of places like Walmart/Target/Toys R. Us. They tend to have the higher quality toys made for the older/dedicated fans and people working or shopping in those sort of stores tend to know at least a little bit about the MLP fandom and be very understanding of it (if not interested themselves some times). From my experience at least.
