As the Game Master, I'll be deciding how well you perform actions based on your background, cutie mark, species, and position on the ship. So I need that info. Species: One of the pony races, changeling, griffon, silvermane dragon. Position on the Ship: Bridge Crew, Scout, Security, Seeker, Staff, Technician Background: It's been determined that the calamity occurred about 50 years ago. For the past 40 years, give or take, technology development focused heavily on off-world travel. The ten years before that were mostly spent focusing on the war of the dragons. Only in their dragon and changeling allies were they able to defend themselves, and as a whole they became more unified. Changelings still see heavy amounts of prejudice against them. If you're a pony, be sure to include your cutie mark and what it represents. I'll also want name and the information regarding your appearance. Aaaaand... go.
Name: Silver Crescent Species: Male Bat Pony Appearance: Gray-blue coat, dark blue mane with silver streaks, golden yellow eyes. Cutie Mark: A crescent moon, representing unwavering loyalty the the night princess. Position: Security Background: Before the calamity, Silver Crescent was a high-ranking Night Guard in service to Princess Luna. On assignment in the Crystal Empire when the calamity struck, he arrived back in Canterlot too late to save the princess. He joined the crew of the Mysterious because he believes the ultimate source of magic could be the key to resurrecting the princesses and restoring the natural order. He is a master swordspony and martial artist, and is nearly unstoppable in aerial combat. Despite technological advances, he shuns most modern weaponry, preferring the old ways. He still wears the magically-enhanced armor of a Night Guard, and wields an enchanted silver sword. Being a Bat Pony, he has exceptional hearing and night vision, as well as excellent strength, speed, and agility. His biggest weakness is his preference for close combat and his antiquated gear. Armor designed to stop swords and claws is ineffective against bullets and blasters, and he often finds it difficult to close the distance on a foe using ranged weapons.

Mother related to an old crisis veteran (And no longer around, thank the stars!), father a heavy invester in off-world travel, and me the prettiest mare this side of Prance! Dad tries to warn me of the dangers of what he puts his money in occasionally. Hilarant! What are the dangers of the sky that has bestowed it's light upon me for my entire life? I want to travel! He's only an investor, he doesn't know what he is talking about! I can keep peace, no need to worry monsieur. It'll be a win win situation! Name: Caramel Warmheart (Prefers Carrie) Species: Female Earth Pony Appearance: Beige coat, purple mane, brown eyes. Cutie Mark: A lightning bolt crossed with a screwdriver, representing an innate knowledge of the new technologies. Position: Technician Background: Like her mother, Carrie has great mechanical sympathy, and an intuitive understanding of mechanical and arcane systems. Her family met the period of technological advancement following the calamity with open hooves; her mother was a skilled repair pony, and taught her all she knew, and she found the challenge of maintaining and repairing the new technologies quite thrilling. Hearing of the expedition, Carrie did her best to get selected, having only dreamed of working of the kind of experimental technologies present on the Mysterious. The ship's mission is less important to her than the vessel's well-being, unless of course new technologies await discovery out there... Carrie is generally pretty happy-go-lucky, unless somepony has the nerve to criticize her work or some piece of tech she has become attached to. She is a fairly innocent soul, and doesn't cope well with violence, preferring to talk things out, or, if all else fails, hide.

The star representing her skills with dark magic and the spiral showing her brewing skills. Ship position:Seeker Background:since Azure never really did much aside from working at her bar she was never more astonished when she saw that the sun and moon moved by themselves she wanted answers. So she decided to board the ship to find the ultimate source of magic and hopefully not be known for just running a business and possibly find some sort of remedy for her problem...
Name: Starlight 'Speedy' Speedster Species: Male Pegasus Appearance: Cutie Mark: A hammer and spanner representing his skill and enthusiasm towards technology. Position: Technician Background: Roughly 25 years after the calamity, his father had become part of the new technology trend and helped with the discovery and development of the new technology used nowadays. His father was involved in the space exploration program and Speedy was usually brought round the lab some days. This was fuel for his ambitions for the future and when the program for the Mysterious needed crew he leaped upon that opportunity in an instant. He is a very polite and well rounded pony, able to adapt to his environment and use what is accessible to him. If any situation arose where his life was threatened, he would probably try to craft a makeshift weapon to flail at his opponent... or in their general area
Silver Crescent, also known as "Crazy Old Bat" by most of the rest of the security team... is approved. "Prancy" over there is also approved, and privileged to be with the team. Carrie, nice background, well put together, welcome aboard! Azure... I'm unsure how a golden star is to represent "dark magic" and would like a more detailed background exposition. Still, you'll be allowed on board. So his name is "Speedy" but he's a technician. Must be a family thing! Welcome aboard, you'll enjoy it abroad.
Room for a last minute sign up? Name: Day Dream Species: Pegasus Mare Appearance: Light yellow coat, dark blue mane, orange eyes. Short n scrawny, with a somewhat stallion-like mane style. White freckles on either cheek. Has a chipped front incisor tooth as well. Cutie Mark: A thought bubble shaped like an exclamation mark, representing her energetic nature, deep thinking, and creativity. Position on the Ship: Scout Background: At 21 years old, Day Dream nor her parents have ever done anything too extraordinary.The adventurous mare wanted to do more than what her flank entails her to do. What better way to do so than traveling to unheard of lands? At a young age, Day’s mother would bring her to work, so as to avoid leaving her filly home alone. The mare happened to be employed as a nurse, where Day eventually became somewhat of an apprentice as she grew older. Thanks to this, she’s very medically capable, and can address most injuries with the right supplies. She’s also quite the gunslinger thanks to her father, whom as a guard taught her all he knew once she was old enough. Though with every strength comes a weakness. For Day, it’s her sheer stubborn nature. She outright hates accepting help, and will rarely ask for it directly. She’s also got an iron-clad pride that only reinforces this. Day also tends to forget about her smaller frame, which leaves less muscle and fat to intercept anything and everything. (Bleh, I’m awful at bio writing.)

Name: Midnight Lullaby Fake name: Lyn Gender: Female Species: Unicorn (She is an Alicorn in disguise.) Eye colour: Light purple Character colour: charcoal-coated Mane/Tail/Other: Night sky mane, similar to Princess Luna's mane, as well as the tail. In disguise, she has a light bluish green main and tail. Physique: A beautiful and charming pony. Her physique is like the average pony, being a bit more thin and tall. She has a voice as smooth as silk and rich as finest chocolate. Her magic aura is light purple. Cutie Mark: A full Moon with a musical note inside it. Position in the ship: Seeker / staff (she sings every now and then for entertainment.) Backstory: She was born as an Alicorn, her father, Darkness Knight, being also one. She lived outside of equestria, across the eastern sea. She wanted to know what was beyond the great sea and she went to equestria with her father a long time ago, until they decided to make it their home. Since alicorns were considered royalty in there, in order to not call any attention, they had to disguise themselves as other species, Darkness as a pegasus, and lullaby as a unicorn. She loved her new home and always explored it, but to make sure no pony tried to know about her past, she decided to use a fake name. being Lyn.
