"What's going on? Discord said something happened with Met, but he wouldn't say any more than that; is she ok?" The Babelbird on her shoulder cocked it's head inquisitively.
Frozen shook his head gently, "She killed a mare in cold blood," he whimpered, "I tried to stop her..I tried to save her..I couldn't." He buried his face in shame, "a mare is dead and Mett hates me. I'm sorry..I just need you right now."
Xarame's blood froze at the news. "She what?" She collapsed back on her haunches in shock at Frozen's bedside; She couldn't believe her friend would do such a thing... "I- Why!?" She asked, looking at Frozen in confusion.
Frozen shook his head and buried his face in her fur in sadness. He explained to her why Molly did what she did to the changelings, and how Mett reacted despite his pleas.
Xarame stroked his mane and sang a lullaby of her homeland to try and soothe Frozen as she tried to wrap her head around Met's actions. She had been like a sister to her; she couldn't have done this, could she? The more she thought, the less she liked the answer...
"I didn't want to fight her," he said, "if it wasn't for my father she would have killed me trying to get to Molly."
Frozen nodded and rested there for some time, taking comfort in her warmth. When he was finally a little calmer, he drifted to sleep in her arms.
Xarame was still holding Frozen, lost deep in thought, when Discord returned a while later. "Well, it's not exactly a holiday camp, but these ponies don't seem to have had it as bad as Azeroth's former subjects." He had informed the ponies of the details of their liberation, and had convinced them to clear away their former mistress; he knew Frozen didn't need to see that. "How are you doing?" He asked gently, approaching the pair. "I know that what Frozen says is the truth; but I still can't quite bring myself to believe it." Xarame said, sadly. "She was like a sister to me."

(You wanna be Discord? Well, ok... Here's the keys. Don't mess with my mirrors, and I counted the change in the ashtray.)
(Rofl) "I wasn't expecting it either," confessed discord, "the way her whole personality changed when she discovered Molly was the one who subjugated her hive.." A shiver went down his spine and, with a sigh, he began to pick the icycles off his back. (Like so? Lol)
(Couldn't have done it better myself; don't go showing me up now XD) "But... did she really threaten to kill Frozen?" She asked, part of her not wanting to know the answer.
(Lol i won't!) Discord's face fell, "Not verbally, anyway," he said, "but had i not stepped between them, I know she would have tried. I never imagined he'd be so brave."
Xarame sighed and looked down at the sleeping Frozen. "He has a good heart, but I worry about him; idealism and kindness are dangerous virtues in this place." "So Met just disappeared? Did she say where she was going?" She asked, looking back at Discord.
"She took her hive with her and left, presumably back to the other changelings at our other base," he said.
"So... what are we going to do?" Xarame asked, her eyes filled with concern; just when she thought things were finally improving, it seemed she was going to lose her dearest friend.
"Let it be," Discord said as he looked at his son, "and convince Frozen to do the same. Wrong or right, we can not hope to face off against a changeling queen and her hive.."
Discord used magic to create a blanket and slipped it around her, "I am sorry Xarame, I feel the same as you do. I know Frozen would agree with you too." Tears came to his eyes as he stroked her mane, like a concerned father, "that's why I didn't act..and why he practically begged her not to harm Molly. You've seen what this place does to everypony who winds up here...I fear it's happening to her."
