"I agree with Speedy Gonzalez." She points to Avery. "IF he talks we'll let him go. If he doesn't we'll just keep this up till he gives in. Good thing we've got a medic...Eh?"
Astasia could hear the scout screaming from being tossed and the sniper fire. She marched out from the basement and tossed the intel out next to the Demoman before meeting with the group and the scout without a foot. She immediately twirled her revolver in hand and pistol whipped Leah. "Can we not keep this quiet?" She hissed. "We just got out of shootout, no need to draw their backup here. Quiet it down or torture him inside." She turned to see Mick with the communicator. "You, what is status of leaving?"
The Scout began to cry loudly, calling for his mother. "W-We just want th-that treasure!" he managed to while between loud sobs. "No-Nobody done hired us! I swear!"
Mick turned to the woman with the Russian accent. "We are almost done here." He then turned his attention to the sobbing Scout. "What treasure? Where is it?"
"You don't need to hit me for that!" She then turned to the scout. "treasure?what treasure?!" She stared him down. "Where is it? What does it look like?"
"Ah agree with Miss Russia over there. There could be more of those bloody mercs. Though, ah'm supposed to be the one hittin' blokes." The Demoman chimed in, before resuming his nap. The enemy Scout shrugged. "D-Dunno... We were gettin' that c-case 'c-cause it had something to d-do with it. It's some Mann Co. treasure."
"I believe you." Mick brought his fist down lightly on the Scout's head, knocking him out cold. "Whoever hired them is after what we are after, but it seems that their employer prefers to stay anonymous." He shrugged. It wasn't much to go on, but it was a start. Turning to Astasia, he pointed to the teleporter. It was spitting sparks and smoking. "We are done here. Do not forget the briefcase." With that, he stepped on the pad and disappeared.
The instant before Leah could step onto the malfunctioning teleporter, the machine burst into flames.
Astasia looked down at the unconscious scout, debating on leaving no witnesses before heading back to watch teleporting that totally didn't explode early explode.
(I'm just playing along even though the teleportr blew up three times already.) "WOAH! WHAT THE HELL?!"
Medic was in what appeared to be a workshop, dismantling the Medigun, remarking at it's amazing capabilities. "This machine is amazing! It must ve powered by zat Australium stuff that father's friend talked about! He walked to the base room, and observed that the teleporter was in pieces yet again. "Ok, who did it this time?"
Leah shrugged when gunter asked but then realized she had to go. "Hold up...I'm gonna look for a bathroom." She searched around the entire base. "THERE IS NO BATHROOM! OH MY GOD!" Leah panicked as she couldn't find a bathroom but then came up with an idea. She later came back with a jar of yellow liquid. "Anyone up for a golden shower?"
Astasia just stared. She stared long and hard at the team's sniper, the person who she was trusting her life with to provide a long distance support. The person who was supposed to hang back and pull of precision based shots in order to cripple the enemy's morale and effectiveness without risking her own life. The person who supposed to be polite, efficient, and have a plan to kill everyone she meets. Astasia promptly pistol-whipped Leah after a few moments before turning the Medic. "We need to go."
Mick continued to not be with the group, having gone missing while attempting to use the broken teleporter. He'd probably show up later.
Due to a lack of both entrance and exit, Mick would've been forever stuck in a realm outside of both time and space, forever to wonder a another plane of existence. Sadly, this RP isn't an extensional one where Mick watches himself grow and old die in a hotel room, so he'll have to settle with appearing in the second floor locker room for the RED fort. Much progress.
Mick, much to the consternation of the person writing his part of the story, found himself on the second floor of the RED base instead of somewhere that would have actually been interesting. Not that I'm bitter or anything. With the teleporters leading to nowhere useful, and Miss Pauling not sending help, it appeared that the new RED team was going nowhere fast, much like the RP they were starring in.
She dropped the jar when astasia pistol whipped her. She scowled and promptly took out her rifle and shot at astasia, purposely missing as the bullet whooshed past her nose. "Look, you don't want to get on my bar side, little miss russia...okay. if you can't even take a *squee!*ing joke without banging me on the head with your puny hand gun then maybe everyone should just stay quiet so they don't get whacked on the head with your gun...okay? So show some respect and don't hit me again." She turned around and picked up the jar, that luckily didn't break and went inside. "*squee!*..."
Gabe Newell put down his comic book and groaned, rubbing his temple. "Did the writer just... forget? Jesus..." he said, in his heavenly, sweet, manly voice, before reading his comic book again. The Demoman stood up and grumbled something, before walking to the teleporter. "Oi! Wee Medicine Man! How much you know about that healing... thing ya got on ya?" he asked, tapping a hunk of mettle with his sword.
"A golden... shower?" Medic looked at the bottle, and his face contorted in disgust. "Oh! Nein, Nein!" He turned to Demoman. "Vell, it seems to be powered by some gold rock at the center of it. Coming close it made my chest tingle. As if I was growing Germany shaped chest hair, ja?"
