After checking the amount she was more than satisfied. "This is more than fair. thank you." Now she needed to fine a place to camp out and figure out a way to allow Frozen to see her cutie mark. The sooner the better. In the mean time. "Could you tell me where your sister's tea shop is? Is it still open at this time of day or will I need to go there tomorrow."
"Oh yes yes," said Lotus, "She's been known to open back up, even late at night, to help a weary traveler!"
"That's not nessisary. I'm not such a huge tea drinker. However I tend to try give any place I'm recomended once." She really wasn't a great tea fan at all. Her beverage of choice was warm milk or simple water. She was currios ho the tea of the past compared to the present.
"Well then I guess I'll be off." That was akward. Lotus never did give her direction and she was afraid it would be rude if she asked again. As she left she wondered how she would find the tea shop. Unlike Horsehead Bay there was likely more than just a single tea shop. She would worry about tommorow. Now she would find a place to set up camp outside the city. Er, after she ate. As much as she prepared she forgot to bring food with her. Not that the plants that she brought with her weren't edible, she just wasn't really willing to eat them.
Frozen was heading back up the road, towards where Lotus' shop was, after having ran a few errands. He was surprised to see Megan walking this road, and nodded slightly in acknowledgement.

As she made he way back she tried once again to think of a way to get Frozen to see her cutie mark. All of her clothes would just cover it up and while most ponies only wore clothes on formal occations she just couldn't bring herself to strut around naked. Yes she'd still be covered in fur but ....
"Just lost in thought." She really needed to limit here exposer to Frozen Heart. The only thing she needed from him now was for him to see her cutie mark. However she had no intentions or parading around naked or ripping off her dress. She also really didn't want to be seen with him after what happen with Jade.
"Please allow me to apologize for my behavior back at the noodle shop," he said, "i was a bit rude with you."
"It's not me you wronged but Jade. I'm not saying the two of you had to get married. But what's wrong with spending time getting to know each other better? Are you afraid of how she'd react to what you are? She might be more understanding then you give her credit for. Then again I could be wrong and she could freak out, but how will you know if you don't give her the chance. Just because you're a 'monster' doesn't mean everyone will hate you. Even Discord has pony friends...." And she said way too much... way too much. Was there a fix. No, probably not. Discord was stoned in the present. Maybe Frozen didn't know that. He had said the Crystal Empire as his home and it was sealed in the present. Why was she even trying to play match maker in the first place... she spent way to much time with the amazon crones....
Frozen weighed her words carefully, in his mind. "I suppose you are right, fear has made me callous. I know I should give her a chance at friendship, she deserves that much." Frozen stopped, "How do you know so much about me?"
"I too am older than I appear. Millions of year even if many were asleep. I guess I observe more then your normal pony, I pay attention to the details and add things together. Your master said you claim to be of the Crystal Kingdom, but the Crystal Kingdom has been in a state of limbo for the last eight hundred years. Only the kingdom itself is in limbo, but there are other species outside of the kingdom. I'm not familiar with them, but I'm quite sure they're not ponies." Was this a conversation she was supposed have? Frozen would remember her, was this the reason.
Frozen nodded gently, "You guessed it correctly..my name is Frozen Heart, former prince of the windigos."
"That honestly means nothing to me. " She really knew nothing of the creatures of this world, less about it's magic. Something told her this needed to be the stopping point she already said far more than she thought she should. Her horn glowed and she summoned a box. "In this box is a magical item called of all things the Jade Lotus. It grants immortality, but only to those that do not seek it. On the box is my cutie mark, in two hundred years return the Jade Lotus to me." Setting the box upon Frozen's back she activated the recall and returned to the glass house. Upon arrival she sighed. How could she forget the bushel and the box were marked with her cutie mark. No one said Frozen had to see it on her. It was too bad she didn't get to try the tea house. Maybe some day she should return in disguise to try and find it. [Sorry for ending things it just seemed like Megs would corrupt the timeline if she remained in the past.]
