"Hmm. I meant our tower, but this might actually be quite nice." Discord said, looking around. He clicked his talons and a tent and campfire appeared. "At least here we shouldn't be disturbed. I uh, I'd quite like to spend a nice quiet evening with the people I care about," He said, meekly. Xarame smiled. "I think that would be nice also. I think we may need it."
"I thought it might be best," Frozen said gently. He curled up by the fire, across from his father, with Xarame.
"Aww, how sweet," Discord said, looking at the two of them and causing Xarame to blush. He turned to his side, arms outstretched, imitating an embrace. "Oh no, that's right; I have nobody." He half-joked, looking at the empty space.
Frozen smiled, "Perhaps someday father," he said, "my mother still waits for you in snowdrift, I believe.."
Discord sighed, curling up and sitting hugging his legs. "Maybe. I don't know. It's been a long time." "Your mother is still alive?" Xarame blurted out in surprise. "Oh, sorry, I didn't mean..."
"Oh, I didn't realize; I don't really know that much about Windigos..." Xarame said, looking at Frozen.
Frozen chuckled and hooked his arm around Xarame. He sighed and laughed, "I'm glad, at least, that you approve of her!"
Xarame smiled and snuggled up to Frozen a little more. She could feel her eyelids getting heavy. "Well, I'm not really one to judge, now am I?" Discord said, with a little laugh. (Not meaning to be pedantic, but ponies and Windigos don't have arms I tend to use 'hoof' in lieu of arm or hand; more in-keeping, but not as dodgy as 'leg' can sound in some situations XD )
(Lol i suppose you have a point. I guess i felt weird saying hoof when referring to the leg unit lol) "I suppose not," Frozen said with a light chuckle, "We have a very odd and varied family do we not?"
"Indeed. Your half-sister is actually a griffin." Discord said, nonchalantly. (Ah, don't worry about it; I'm sure I'll know what you mean by the context.)
Discord smiled apologetically. "Sorry, that was a joke. I didn't even know I had a son until you turned up at the Glass House, and Snowflake was the only one who ever... Ahem. Well, you know." He blushed a little.
Frozen chuckled softly, "You got my hopes up.. So tell me about this Fluttershy you keep going on about!"
"Fluttershy?" Discord looked a little confused. "Well, she's the mare who showed me what friendship means; she is my first and dearest friend, and I hope to one day introduce you. I think she'd like you..."
