Easily the best idea for a logo so far, it's simple, conveys the point and stands out. And it doesn't have a copyright infringing Pony on it.
Lets get one thing straight though Hasbro doesn't own the copyright to all pony art in the world, they wasn't the first to come up with talking ponies, a Russian guy was, The Magic Pony, is a 1947 Soviet/Russiantraditionally animatedfeature, it was once called The Little Horse hmmmmm and clearly people have been drawing ponies for 100s of years. They wasn't the first to come up with rainbow colours, nor was they the first to come up with cutie marks. and toys like this was produced before my little pony was even made Don't get me wrong I love Hasbro, but the fact is they don't own ponies and they don't own Brony. One other point Id like to add is, Its entirely possible hasbro stole the current my little pony style, from Brony fan Art, why would I even say this? because before 2010 their Ponies looked ugly! They say was redesigned in 2009,, (I'm guessing it wouldn't be hard to find Brony fan Art from before this time) Note these FAN made images are from before 2007!!! so who stole what from where????????? seems Hasbro stole from us Bronies... FACT. before 2009 Hasbro ponies looked like I didn't want to prove Hasbro stole the current pony style from Fans, you guys drove me to it lol, but lets just say Hasbro doesn't want to face me in court.
I think discussions of copyright are largely moot. You can have an iron-clad case that Hasbro doesn't have a right to claim a copyright violation, but if a C&D actually appears in your inbox, you also need a pile of cash to pay for the lawyers to prove it. Only someone independently wealthy and incredibly stubborn would actually go through with it. I have some prony-related projects in the works, and I ask myself: If a C&D arrived tomorrow, I'd be upset, but would I actually fight it? The answer is "No," but I'm not particularly worried. I think Hasbro has learned that every C&D is jarring to their (very lucrative) fanbase, and have been fairly restrained with them. It looks like they're only going after those who are using characters from the show, AND producing products that could potentially be mistaken for Hasbro products, AND producing them in high quantity. Bronycoin doesn't meet any of those criteria. Besides, it's going to be distributed. They could go after Mr. Ponymotto here (If he ever reveals himself) but at most, that might only precipitate a change of logo. Long live the block chain!
+1 to everything you just said sir, and welcome to the thread I would fight this, but they'd probably just offer me loads of money out of court, like they did with Brony beer lol, once they realise I'm not the sort to back down. But your correct, they'd need to go after every wallet owner in the world and that's impossible, nor can they shut down Bronycoin, but what they could do is go after our merchants, and that's why I appreciate all feedback on copyright, but what I won't accept is that Hasbro owns all ponies.

As I said I appreciate your opinion and the logo you made, we won't be using Rainbow dash, even though Hasbro doesn't even own the name Rainbow dash. If the voters vote for a logo of a pony with rainbow colours though, I'll accept it.. because it won't be a copy of rainbow dash in the first place, it will just be a rainbow coloured pony.

If we're just talking about vociferous equines, The Magician's Nephew (CS Lewis, 1955) features a horse that can talk and is later turned into a pegasus. Then of course there's Balaam's donkey in the bible. I know some folklores have farm animals having human-understandable conversations on Christmas eve. The only catch is any human who overhears them is cursed to die before the next yuletide. As for the princesses, Piers Anthony invented the idea of a pega-unicorn in 1984. He gave it the name alicorn, which was a general name for unicorn horn or any formulation of it in the medieval alchemical texts. Apparently narwhal tusk, sold as alicorn, was a sizable chunk of the GDP or Norway for a while. I don't have any information on whether the handedness (right twisted vs much more common left twisted) of the alicorn was supposed to have any significance. Ok. I should let this discussion get back to coins and I should get back to work.
It's still hard for me to tell if you're really serious about this or if it's some elaborate hoax/scam. However... If you're truly serious... Have you tried asking Equestria Daily to promote this for you and giving them details on what you want to do? You might get more offers to help that way. Just suggesting?
I plan to offer them extra free coins once released, but no point going to them at this point in the game.
