"Hmm..." Max rummaged around a bit, then reappeared wearing a pink silk nightie. "How's this?" She asked, giving him a twirl. She quite liked it; it was lightweight, and the silk felt nice against her fur.
"better" he said smilling as he checked her out (wait...i complain about her being nude but then check her out when she is wearing soemthing.....wow im a hypocrite) he thought to himself
"Good," Max said, smiling. "Then we're both happy. My jumpsuit should be ready soon anyway. In the meantime, lets see if we can get these cleaning robots up an running again, shall we?"
ace smiled at her they should work fine i just have to recalibrate them cause of the crane" he told her as he stood up and started heading towards the mainframe
"Hmm, yes... we should probably deal with the crane once the robots are set to the cleaning," Max said, following him. The crane and the hole it had made were her only real concerns at the moment; once they had dealt with them, perhaps they could venture out and see if they could find anypony in need of help, safe in the knowledge that the hospital would be secure whilst they were away.
it didnt take long for ace to calibrate the robots and as soon as they left the basement they could hear them buzz around in each room cleaning it and changing the sheets and so forth "im going to go take a crack at the crane....would you like to help?" he said standing in the spot max's mother died
Max looked at him standing there, in that spot. Perhaps it means something? She thought to herself. That I should stop thinking about the ponies from the past, and instead focus on the ones here now? The ones... standing in front of me.... She blushed and coughed, realising she'd been staring at Ace for a few minutes in silence. "Um, yes! Yes, I will help you, certainly. Just let me, uh... grab my jumpsuit! Yeah! It should be ready by now..." She grinned at him and ran off, headed for the laundry room. Could she be having feelings for him now too? No! Don't you think that! You don't deserve him, the things you've done, Insisted the voice in her head. She sighed, knowing it was right. She was still a long way from redemption...
ace waited there for her thinking about what to do about the crane.....until.....max's half nude body poped into his head again (agh) he thought shacking his head (she said no.....worry about the crane not your love interest) he thought to himself as one of his eyes got blurry he wiped away the tear and focused on the crane and what to do about it until max got back
Max returned a short while later in her freshly cleaned jumpsuit; the blue and yellow were much brighter, and the stains were gone, but it was still raged and frayed on her leg, revealing the dark mark left by the bullet. She'd taken the time to store the pink nightie in her room, thinking she might wear it again some time... "Hey, everything okay?" Max asked, looking a little concerned; had Ace been crying?
"Well... okay," Max said, uncertainly. "But, if anything is wrong, you know you can always talk to me, right?" She placed her hoof on his shoulder and smiled helpfully.
"thanks...but im fine max" he told her soon the got to the top floor and ace went to the crane "i know what we need to do but i want to hear what you think we should do" he said to her as they got to the expanse of pipes rods and cable
"Um, okay..." Max said, stepping forward. Was this some kind of test? "Well, like I said earlier, I think we should cut it up with the tools on the building site, and try to minimise the damage to the street below, if possible," Max said, trying to read Ace's face for some kind of reaction.
it remained nutrual "you are correct....but" (pause for suspence) he thought to himself before continueing "we should worry about the hospital getting dammaged more then the street cause we can fill any holes up easily...but a hole in a wall is a bit harder to patch" he said smiling to her "but you had the right idea"
"Well," Max said, smiling, "I fix holes in ponies, not buildings; I'll bow to your superior knowledge in this area."
ace try not to laugh but a small chuckle got out before he looked over at the building, his horn glowing
soon a welder torch floated to them from the building he looked around at the crane and pushed max back a few feet before going back where he was standing and started cutting it took a bit but finaly the crane groaned and the top part fell on the bottem and the crane hook landed right where max had been standing
Max blinked, and then looked at what he'd done; the crane was no longer forming a bridge into the hospital, and it hadn't caused too much damage in falling. The street below was now blocked, and the crane hook had cracked the floor where Max had been standing, but it was nothing they couldn't deal with. "Very impressive, well done!" Max enthused, grinning at Ace. "Now we just need to fix this hole..."
((hasnt fallen yet)) ace then cut the bottom half of the crane about in the middle and the construction site end "you know using two torches is more dificult then it sounds" he said sweat beeding on his forehead then with a loud groan and a crash the mettle mess fell and landed on the ground blocking the road "thanks...that ...that was pretty hard" he said sitting down panting after he brought the torches into the room
