It seemed as though Nova finally got through to Tyro. At this point, Nova wasn't sure if Tyro was going to try this as well, but, he was tired of arguing with him. What he chose to do would be his decision, and his decision alone. Nova simply nodded as a response and closed his eyes. He remembered his family. He remembered his friends, particularly his non-bat pony friends that didn't immediately judge him. Most of all... he remembered his determination to stop at nothing to end the false perceptions of bat ponies once and for all. He focused on these particular things and nothing else. Then... "GET OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GET OUT OF MY BODY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!" screamed Nova at the top of his lungs. He could only hope that what Tyro suggested would work...
(You've all had to put up with my horrible, crappy commitment to this and I hope your still interested. If you are, then congrats, it's time I actually start dolling out a few presents. So...Ahem!) Nightmare Nova suddenly jerks awake. (Nova regains his body and is now in control of the Nightmare for now. Nightmare Powers granted - Element of Sorrow. A terrifying bat of darkness able to terrify others with ease. You can now play with the new Nova.) A low cackling comes from the darkness as something appears behind Nightmare Azure. The gently smoldering tails of this fox slowly step out into the full view, it's eyes glowing with menace. The mouth a long, razor like shard that only opened to mumble something. Power and magic appeared to arc around him. Nightmare Jackpot watches in abject confusion. "What in all of Equestria...?" The fox then takes a few steps before leaping high into the air, only to crash down on the huge mare Azure had become, biting harshly into the creature's neck and clinging on. As the fox sunk in it's teeth, it's horrible magics lash and spark at her causing the creature to falter, stumbling into a wall. With a crash, she was apparently wounded and in a perfect position to be given a final strike. (Tyro regains his body and gains Nightmare Powers - Element of The Arcane - Dark magics and illusions that most Alicorn would never cast because of their cruel effects are now second nature to the fox.) As Sombra flies up into the sky, everything seems to flash from existing to...Not so much. It was as if the opacity controls for the world were going haywire. The lands were growing hazy, blackened and less tangible.
(Oh crap. I forgot about this rp. XD uhmmm.... sooo..... I guess I cant carry on unless you have something for that...)
BladeRunner had no time to move between the shuffling of the mare and the attack of the fox. He would fall off as the mare collapsed to the ground, hurting his left side as he crashed to the ground. He stumbled up, shaking off the pain swiftly and then looking from the mare to the fox. He did not know of what the fox was doing here, or which side it was on, but it did the job for Blade, so theres the added bonus.
(Oh yeah! Right. Darkness has attempted to take in Luna's Anguish and Pain, making it his own. Darkness gains Nightmare Powers - Element of Betrayal - Able to weasel themselves into the ranks of a group and instil a sense of mutiny with little effort. You may now re-enter the fight from the darkness after your transformation into a Nightmare Pony. Mu-ha-ha-haaa! More powers left! Step right up!) The fox looks up, still clinging on to Azure. In Tyro's voice it spoke, drawing itself up to full height. "This is going to be the most metal thing I will ever say." It said. "To beat this thing, you have to embrace the darkness. Get a big, ol' lung of it and show it who's boss!" As reality had it's little seizure, both Jackpot and Azure could see the fight outside. They could see glimpses of a black fox and Blade. They could catch only one part. "Beat this thing. Embrace the darkness."
Azure had no idea who or what they were talking about or who they're talking to. "What the hell are they talking about? Are they talking about me?" She looked to Jackpot for an answer,knowing that she most likely didn't have one.
Darky opened his eyes and felt... different. The strike he did against the creature...was that what made him like this? He felt inside him a force, a bit evil. He felt... that he had been betrayed by somepony close to him. He felt the agony of it, the pain... the power... Darky stood up, his body also felt different as he transformed into a Nightmare pony. He was bigger, thinner. His teeth were sharper and now had fangs. His long black mane started waving, and it looked like you were looking at the void itself, darker than the darkest of nights. "This power... all this power..." He smirked with an evil grin as he felt all this get into his soul. "Hehehe... hahahaha ... HAHAHAHA!" he had never felt that powerful before. Now, time to kick some flanks... He looked around for his prey of the battle, smirking with a thirst for battle. ((I really should draw this transformation one of this days :3))
Nova wasn't really sure what to think of this. He was kind of frozen at first, in utter shock, but eventually shook it off. ((This insanity needs a battle them. This should do. )) Nova dashed toward the remaining 'Nightmare' and shouted at it to try to get the attention of the remaining pony still possessed. "You're trapped in your own body!! You have to find a way to regain control of your own body!! Whatever you're seeing isn't real!!" shouted Nightmare Nova
(At least someone is trying to help rather than kill me...vecause currently nightmare Azure has a flaming blade in her hind leg,a huge gash in her neck,and maybe a few more "minor" injuries)
As reality continued to collapse on...something Azure heard something else "whatever youre seeing isnt real!" "WHAT?! So what the *squee!* was I fighting?!"
(To be fair, Azure is a huge, hulking creature that is more than capable of tanking that damage. Besides, it was that or be crushed by her hooves so, don't take it out too harshly on Blade, OK?) (For once in an RP, I'm asking you to take Blade and have him attempt to accept the Hatred, Misery and Shame that gives the Nightmares the group has been fighting their form and power into himself so that it may be dealt with naturally. Tyro is literally telling Blade to accept dark magic into himself and then attempt to tame it. Black Malestrom of Bad Feelings and Pain? Yeah, the possibly-crazy fox is telling him to soak it up like the chocolate milk after you've eaten the cereal. Which is something Blade ought to do incredibly easily, considering his sword is supposed to be just as dangerous. See, I still remember your profiles! I got one of those memories that remembers plot details but not what I came into a room for. Sorry, if that wasn't clear.)
(Understood, I'll make sure something is done about Blade.) BladeRunner thought for mere seconds before realizing what the fox meant. "Absorbing the darkness eh?" He said to himself before finally accepting this. He remembered his past, the torment of war, the shame he brought upon his family, his own arrogance and ideals... As he began to do this, the darkness entered swiftly and easily, making itself home. His mind and spirit was already considered to be dark, so this would make it easy. His pure white body turned to a pitch black, his black mane turning white and his pupils of the eyes turning a glowing, slitted blue. His body began to grow slightly, making him taller, his armor turning from its blue state to a pitch black as well, a full helmet forming over his face rather then the usual open face head cover. BladeRunner was a being of darkness, harnessing the power of the darkness itself. The power he emitted was odd from the others, it was not just the Nightmare Powers, it was the fact the flames of his blade emitted an aura around Blade, the red aura being clear red. He didn't like this, this power seemed too dangerous, even in the right hands it could corrupt and decay, but it could be used for a short time. If he could keep this power, he would have to find a way to extract all of that darkness and store it elsewhere, and when the time comes he will need to use it, if it was needed. Indeed, this power will be used for something, the enemy, or his allies, BladeRunner could care any less for them (Example of the armor he bears now) .
Nova heard this somehow and tried to answer her. "Something you yourself created from some sort of fear, doubt, or any negative thought you have. Accept it and you should be able to break free!!" responded Nightmare Nova
(Blade Runner gains...more dark powers, becoming the Element of Wrath - a living weapon of vengeance that burns through all it can't forgive.) Tyro leaps and lands at Blade's side, checking him over. He reeked of dark power. Well, more than he did before. "Feeling OK?" Tyro grins, "The armour a choice or you stuck like that?" Nova's words rippled through the illusion, turning the rolling hills to mere mist. Jackpot and Azure stood on something but it only barely looked like a hill. It seemed more like stone, like the floor of the building they'd been fighting in. Sombra appeared like nothing more than a ghost. The grip on them was tangible but faded. Azure could pull on it. Jackpot could try and resist it. They both felt themselves able to make a choice: own the illusion or remain trapped.
BladeRunner sighed, "Afraid its permanent until I can figure out a way to trap the darkness, luckily stones, amulets, and crystals can absorb anything and seal it until the for use comes," Blade replied, looking down at Tyro, "This power, its amazing, but too dangerous to keep it for long. One who's mind is normal or pure would go insane form it, such a shame." Blade looked to the large Azura being, "I guess to fight fire with fire, you must use darkness against itself. How sure are you that we won't become controlled by this power?"
((Own the illusion I believe. It allows you to temporarily can't control of your Nightmare form apparently. I think? ))
"None what so ever!" Tyro replies, almost jokingly. "As I see it, this is a mixture of magic and the worst bad mood Equestria has ever seen. If it's too much for Princess Luna to handle, we have to share the load and try to...process it I guess." He flashes his sharp teeth: "Looking like bad-flank Horror Monsters is a bonus." (Control the illusion! Gain the power of Darkness! Everyone else is, come join the party! What other RP on here is encouraging you to become a spawn of Evil?)
