Before the Storm (To those of Equestrian Spartans

(((( This is the start of the role-play known as Before the Storm, the same role-play before Equestrian Spartans (As I want to call Equestrian Guardians). This is probably the climax of the Covenant-Human Wars, and with he Promethian's in the mix alongside the Covenant things have gotten messy for the past few years. So without further ado, let us commence, shall we? And also, we are all in the same room, just letting you know.
Also, I want to point out that we should have a team name, I was thinking Nemesis, but what are your ideas? ))))

Year: 2572
Location: Orbit of Earth

The climax of the war had started, the final enactment of the Human-Covenant War had begun above, beyond, and on Earth, the Human home world. The Spartans have become more advanced, older Spartan programs being combined with the newer versions in order to make the super-soldiers far more superior then what they used to be. On a single frigate of the UNSC (United Nations Space Command) known as Gun-Runner, there were seven individuals in a meeting room, where it was pitch black but the holographic map on the computer-like desk.
There was the Captain of the Gun-Runner named Romas Vaughn, and the Commander of the fire team squadron Aires, his name was Willian Colt. The other individuals were Spartans, what was left of them at least. They were going through briefing on their next mission, infiltrate the Covenant ship that was under construction. Odd enough, these Spartans did not know each other, they were from different sectors of the galaxy and were brought together in order to stop the destruction upon the Earth, once and for all.

"Your job is simple, infiltrate that ship, and destroy it, the main Covenant Supply links to that ship from there outside of orbit. Be aware, we do have some Covenant Rogues on our side, but there are very many of them. The longer we fight the more casualties there are. Be careful when you board that ship, there is a Senghelli Master that goes by the name of Volsung, he is notorious for killing many squads of soldiers such as yourselves all at once. You know the mission, get it done and lets finish this war, do you understand?" The Captain said vocally, making sure they were all paying attention.

 

"The ship is right below this one, difference? We are far out in orbit, they are on Earth," The Spartan in white said, making sure this female soldier knew what she was doing. Apparently she did not know where to go, "Come on, we're going through Orbital Drop," he said before leaving, making sure the female was behind him.
This was Renegade, or rather 097 as he liked to be called. He was the hacker and smarts of the UNSC Spartans, knowing weak points to the enemy, but if that did not work then he would use his strength and speed as a weapon. He was not new to any of this, although being reawakened from Cryogenic Sleep did mess him up a little. He was fully functional though, ready for any fight, and he understood where everything was, only because he listened on the Captain the Commander on their little conversation. He will do what it takes to end this war once and for all, he'd even train new Spartans, something he highly hated, in order to ensure that their numbers succeed in winning the war over.

((And hey, please be descriptive with the stuff you do in this role-play, proper grammar, etc. I do not want one-liners. No God-Modding, no Meta-Gaming, and certainly no getting into fights over a little argument, if you have a question then ask and someone can answer it for you.))

"Well, then I guess I could learn you a few things," He said, walking through the corridors as several troops, engineers, and anything of those sorts passed them. They would enter a room where there were large pods halfway in the floor, the door of the pod opened as it could be revealed a seat and a handgun to the side of the pod. They were thick with metal and perfect fit for Spartans, the seats being made of metal but covered with a fiber that may seemed comfortable.

"These are Drop Pods, we drop from orbit and into the planet, if you eject even right before you land you will burn up and die," Renegade said to the female Spartan, attaching his assault rifle to the inside of his own pod, "One of the best things about these though is that they can take damage, but it would have to take twenty metric tons of force to literally destroy them, thanks to ONI's technology."

 

((Understood, I'll wait till then))

 

"We are not going into the ship with these," Renegade said, making sure his own pod didn't have any creases or cracks in it, "We crash to the ground, and then we force the pod door out and get ready for action. Our goal is to infiltrate the ship, yes, but we need to do it on ground, if we just barge in through the ship we might hit anything that could explode, and poof, like that you are gone." He explained, getting in his own pod, testing out the seat and the braces to the sides. He loved these things, even when he first started out in his very first mission as a Spartan various years ago, he always enjoyed the way the pods allowed his own adrenaline to kick in.

 

"Well," Renegade started, looking to the quiet Spartan, "If they got motion sickness its more easy of a chance to puke up your guts, with the force that is applied on the outside and the fact you have zero gravity you could easily vomit." He then walks over to the quiet Spartan, "You ready for the mission?" He asked, awaiting for a reply or something.
