ace put a hoof on her back "thank you" he replied "your a good pony too" after a few seconds ace spoke up again "do you want to go into the bed?" he asked
Max smiled faintly at that; she wasn't a good pony, but she was trying to be, "Yeah, just let me get changed," She said, heading into the bathroom to change into her silk nightie before getting into the bed. She took Ace's hooves, and wrapped them around her waist, putting her back against his chest, and snuggled under the sheets.
ace was naked this time cause he now was convinced that celestias spell was still in effect, somehow, plus he wanted to feel every inch of her soft fur he then kissed the back of her neck "good night max" he said to her as he magicly turned off the lights
"Goodnight Ace~" Max whispered back. "Sweetdreams~" She soon drifted off into a peaceful sleep, devoid of the nightmares that had plagued her in the nights after leaving her Stable, but before finding Ace.
ace smiled as she fell asleep in his hooves once he new she was asleep he whispered in her ear "i love you" and then fell into his own dreams -ts- ace woke up....normaly no silent screaming....no attacking the closest moving object....not even rapid breathing and heart rate, but a normal wake up complete with a yawn
Max was still asleep when Ace woke up. She had turned around in the night, and was now cuddling him face to face, her cheek pressed against the warm fur of his chest as she smiled peacefully.
ace smiled and kissed her forehead then he laid his head back meanwhile the brown mare woke up panting (what the....where the hell am i) she thought unplugging herself and attempting to opened the locked door (damn) she thought as she rubbed her shoulder as the pain meds from the IV wore off from being unplugged
The kiss roused Max a little, and after a while she woke up, tilting her head a little to see Ace's face. "Morning~" She said, still a little sleepy. "What time is it?"
"M'hm." Max cuddled Ace a bit closer and smiled. "You?" She asked, remembering his violent awakenings.
"I'm glad to hear it," Max said, smiling. She cuddled him for a few more minutes, then sighed. "I suppose we'd better get up; we've got things to do. Do you mind if I use the shower first?"
Max smiled and rolled out of the bed, then walked into the bathroom. She didn't close the door this time, as she removed her nightie and stepped into the shower. She began to sing softly again as she washed herself; a happier song than last time, a love song from before the war.
Ace smiled his heart swelling with joy He then sighed happily as he laid back and begain to think of things that needed to be done *snif snif* (And a shower is at the top) he thought reilizing how dirty he was He then got up and waited by the door to the bathroom Ace didn't think they were far enough in they're relationship to be showering to gether so he just sat there listening to max sing
A couple of minutes later, Max turned the shower off and stepped out, dripping wet. She continued to sing as she dried herself with a towel before wrapping it around her head, putting her nightie back on, and walking out of the bathroom. "All yours," She said, smiling as she noticed Ace by the door.
"Thanks" he said to her as he stood up and walked in to take his own shower (Wonder why ponies started wearing cloths more often, being fully naked seams so relaxed) he thought as he started to get in as the water started up ---- The pony stopped paceing to grab where she had been shot "Damnit it hurts!" She groaned as she sat down
Max finished drying her mane, then wriggled into her jumpsuit and put on her coat. She headed into the office room and searched the bookshelves until she found what she was looking for; a guide to deep-mind scanning machines. She sat on the sofa and started reading it, waiting for Ace.
ace came out naked "i think ill wash my cloths before wearing them again" he said seeing the blood and dirt all over his duster, not to mention the other cloths he had
Max chuckled a little. "I thought you said ponies were meant to wear clothes?" She didn't mind; his body was nice to look at, and this was the first time she'd seen his cutie mark.
