"ya...but...i changed my mind.....is that ok?" he asked blushing a bit as he sat next to her and sent his duster down the shoot after taking out the armor plating, witch kinda looked like dragon scales only dull
"Fine by me~" Max said, smiling and kissing his cheek. "We have to go and check on our patient in a minute; she should be waking up soon."
ace smiled as he got up and walked to one of the four other rooms that the over night doctors had to see if he could find some alternitive cloths "im going to see if i can find something to wear" he told her
Max looked at him and nodded. "Okay, but try not to look too much like a doctor; ponies might get the wrong idea and start asking you for medical advice." She chuckled a little, and turned back to her book. "I'll be here when you're done. I want us both present to wake that mare; she may be confused, and require restraint."
after a bit brave walked out in a flanal shirt with jeans "this work?" he asked as he walked to her and sat down
(Brave? I think you mean Ace...x3) Max looked up from her book, and smiled. "As long as you're happy with it." She stood up and carefully saved the page she was on. "Let's go." She opened the door and walked out into the corridor, headed for the mare's room...
((oops...)) "i am" ace said as he followed her the mare moved to a chair and sat down panting from the pain, she needed to put the IV back in but she didnt know that
Max hummed happily as she walked down the corridor, stopping only when she looked through the window to the room and saw the mare was awake. "What!?" She said, a little panicked, "She should still be asleep!" She looked even more concerned when she noticed the mare's IV had pulled out. She quickly unlocked the door and let herself in, trying to look as reassuring and non-threatening as possible.
"agh!" the mare said jumping up and falling over, resulting in an "ow" ace closed the door behind him as he tried not to laugh at her reaction
"Oh dear..." Max said, rushing over to help the mare up. "Please try to relax; you're in a hospital, and I'm a doctor. You'd been shot when we found you, and we patched you up, but you still need rest!" She glanced at the dangling IV line. "You must be in pain; please let me help,"
the mare didnt complain as she accepted help from max it was hard to tell if it was because of ace or her pain
Max helped her back onto her bed, and reattached the IV, boosting the med-x levels for a while to make up from the mare's pain levels. "I'll explain more later, but for now, please try and keep still?" Max asked, hopefully. "It's for your own good."
Max looked at her for a second before answering. "My name is Doctor Hadley," She said, not wanting to get to personal with the mare until they knew a bit more about her. "Can you tell us you name?" She asked, seeing that the mare didn't seem to be that tired.
Ace stood there waiting looking a bit board The mare looked at her up and down then replied "I'm Jay"
"Jay?" Max repeated. What a lovely name, she thought, as she noted it down on her clipboard. "Well Jay, you're a very lucky mare; Somepony shot you in the heart, or at least, where most ponies have their heart. By all rights you should be dead." She gave her a small smile. "You're safe here, so try and get some rest; we'll come back to see you later, and talk more then. If you need anything though, just press that button." She said, pointing at the nurse-call button by the bed.
Jay looked at her like she wasn't sure to trust her "Ok" she said laying back again to rest Ace smiled and opened the door for max
Max sighed as soon as she was out of earshot of the room. "Shall we go and get some breakfast?" She suggested, smiling at Ace.
