Ace had a few ideas, none of witch they were ready for at this stage in they're relationship, so instead he suggested "How about we go look around the town, see if we can find anypony else"
"I'm not sure we've quite got time for that; what if we find some other pony in desperate need of surgery? Or get pinned down in a cross-fire?" She sighed. "I was going to suggest we relax a while in your room; I want to read some more of that book..." She smiled shyly, and added; "And... maybe we could cuddle a little?"
Ace smiled "sure" he said pressing his side agenst hers as they started walking "we can cuddled in our room"
Max giggled a little, before covering her mouth with her hoof, trying to maintain a more professional appearance whilst the were in the more pubic part of the hospital. She knew there was nopony else there, but it was good practice for when there hopefully would be. Once they got to their room, she went over to the bookshelf, and found the book she'd been reading, before returning to the sofa.
Max smiled and snuggled against him, pulling his hoof around her as she started reading. Ace was right; being with him like this put her in a much more positive mindset, and helped her think about what they should do after Jay was better.
Ace smiled and kissed the back of her ear before closing his eyes, taking in the feeling of her body agenst his
Max's ear twitched, and she giggled happily. She put her book down for a moment, and twisted around to kiss Ace's cheek.
Ace laughed a little "Hay that tickles, stop it!" He said trying to push her away Luckily for her, he wasn't really trying
Max grinned and rested more of her weight on him, turning fully to look at him. "It does? Oh, I'm sorry..." She chuckled and licked his cheek instead. "How about this~?"
Max blushed a bit more as he licked her, and she nuzzled his cheek, happily. "You're silly~" She giggled, cuddling him a bit tighter.
"Are you complaining?" Max asked, jokingly, as she closed her eyes and sighed deeply, her body rising and falling against his.
"No" he said slowly passing out "If I fall asleep could you wake me up when we need to chek on jay?" He asked his yes now closed again
"Sure~" Max said, planting a soft kiss on his lips, before turning around to read her book again. She'd wait about another half an hour, she decided, not wanting to leave Jay alone for too long.
It didn't take long for ace to fall asleep, his hoof around her lossening it's grip and sliding down her body till it reathced it's farthest langth and arched to her side
Max smiled as she felt his hoof slipping, then blushed as it came to a rest on her flank, but didn't make any attempt to move it. She read a few more chapters of her book, then sighed, knowing it was about time. She twisted around again, and tried to wake Ace with a kiss.
Max happily kissed back for a few minutes as he ran his hooves around her body, but then pushed him away gently and stood up, blushing. "That's enough for now, we've got to go see to Jay," She said, tidying her mane and straightening out her coat. "Later though~" She added, winking before heading to the door.
