"Well I got no where else to go....so I guess your stuck with me" jay said with a small giggle Ace then nudged max, hinting at what they needed to tell her
Max nodded at Ace, understanding what he meant. "Before you make your decision, there's something you should really know; Ace and I were the ponies you were shooting at, and therefore, it was probably us who shot you. It was self defence, and I hope since meeting us you've realized we would never hurt another pony if we didn't have to, but you deserve to know the truth."
Jay stepped into the corner of the elevator She looked shocked at what max just said "Now remember....we don't want to hurt anypony and have saved your life" Jay calmed down a bit at that and looked at Max
Max tried to smile reassuringly. "I hope you understand; we were only doing what we had to do, just like you were only doing what you had to do, but Ace and I are trying to stop that sort of thing from happening again in the future. I would like for you to help us." The elevator door opened, and she stepped out. "If you don't want to, then there will be no hard feelings; we will give you clothes, water and supplies, and you may be on your way."
Max noticed she was walking alone, and then returned to Jay. She stood patiently, waiting for an answer.
"Well....you have been really nice......" She finaly said not looking up Ace turned to max, a slightly worried look on face
Max touched Ace's shoulder as she walked past him, giving him a little smile. She walked over to Jay, and sat next to her. "The reason I want you to join us," She explained, "Is that you seem like a very bright young mare, and I think I could train you to be a fine medical pony. Would you like to be able to help other ponies, Jay?"
She nodded still not speaking She then stood up signaling she would like to continue with them to get the small mare some clothes Ace sighed in relief walked next to jay but kept his distance
Max led her to the laundry room, and began to wonder if they had made a mistake telling her; she'd seemed much happier before... When the got to the room, Max showed her where all the different clothes were kept, and left her to pick an outfit for herself. "I hope we didn't scare her too much," Max said quietly, standing next to Ace and looking worried. "It can't be easy talking to the ponies that nearly killed you..."
Ace nodded "If I ever did I don't remember....but I guess it's really hard to get over" he said as he pulled her close for a reassuring hug Jay lifted up a cute skirt and put it on her back and looked for more clothes
"Where did she find... nevermind," Max said, shaking her head in disbelief that the mare had managed to find such a garment in a hospital. She supposed that scavenging was a skill wasteland ponies had to develop to survive. Still, she was worried the skirt might be a little distracting; Jay did have a fine figure... She blushed as she found her gaze lingering on the young mare's flank, and looked away, hoping nopony had noticed.
"I'm going to guess that the patents could use the laundry room" ace said looking over and seeing more personal clothing He then turned to jay and spoke a bit louder so she could hear "I think there are clothing that would fit you better over there" he said pointing Jay looked up and over where he was pointing She then nodded and went to the laundry cart to look there
"Hmm? Oh... yes." Max said, noticing the laundry cart for the first time. "Speaking of personal clothing, have you managed to get yours clean yet?" She asked, smiling slightly amusedly. "I still can't get used to you in that outfit,"
Ace rolled his eyes and walked to the dryer that held his stuff and put it on behind the corner Jay pulled out a tee shirt and a jean jacket
Max smiled sadly as she watched them; they reminded her of when she was a young mare in her Stable, back before things got out of hoof; she and her friends would sneak into the storage rooms, and try on all the non-Stable Tec issue clothing that had been confiscated and stored there. She had been happy back then, without the weight of terrible things weighing on her conscience. She sat down and sighed, waiting for them both to finish getting changed.
Ace walked over and hugged her "What's wrong?" He whispered in her ear as jay walked around the corner to change
She gave him a little smile as he hugged her. "Oh, nothing. Just thinking of simpler times." She replied, quietly. She hoped that Jay would stay with them. She gave her hope, hope that there were ponies in the wasteland worth saving.
Ace hugged her tighter an kissed her cheek before sitting next to her A few seconds later jay walked out Her skirt was long enough but if she bent over you would be able to see her Cotten candy blue panties she had found Her white tee-shirt was tucked into the dark blue skirt and the light blue jean jacket was unbuttoned She twirled around then raised and eyebrow As if asking if she looked good wail keeping her silence
Max blinked, then blushed a little. The skirt was as distracting as she'd feared... "You... you look very nice, Jay," She said, nodding and trying to sound pleasant, but professional.
