Max shrugged. "Perhaps it's meant to be vague? You do seem to be good at a lot of things..." "Speaking of which..." She smiled, and crawled back up the bed, bringing herself face to face with him once more.
Ace breathed in and kissed her again his hooves returning to her flank and back as they kissed and cuddled
Max kissed him for a couple more minutes, then nuzzled his neck sleepily, and kissed it softly a few times. Part of her wanted to take it further, and her body was certainly willing, but a louder voice in her head insisted that she had not redeemed herself enough for that yet; she had saved one mare, and was on the right track, but she needed to continue to do good before she would let herself feel good.
As she fell asleep on him he held her tightly till sleep came for him to But before he passed out her kissed her forehead once more
Max awoke the next morning, and stretched a little, yawned quietly, then rolled over to Ace. She laid her head on his chest, enjoying the the smell of his fur, and the warmth of his body against her cheek.
Ace opened his left eye at max moving He had been awake for maybe half an hour thinking and trying to remember his past He then had a idea and acted on it All of a sudden he hugged max and roared as he began to tickle her
Max squeaked in surprise, her eyes going huge and round as he roared, but then she started to laugh and wriggle about as he tickled her. "Hey! What gives!?" She asked, smiling and laughing.
Ace flipped over and pinned her "Nothing gives" he said with a huge smile before he kissed her for about ten seconds
Max closed her eyes and went limp under his hooves. She let him kiss her, parting her lips again and enjoying the feel of his hot tongue on her own.
Once ace was done stretching he crawled back in bed and cuddled her "so what are we doing today besides getting jays stuff?" He asked her
"Hmm?" Max hmmed, looking at him. "Oh, I'm not really sure; we could either explore more of the town, try and find more ponies in need of our help; or I could start training her to help me with medical procedures." She sighed, and snuggled against him. They still had so much to do...
Max nodded. "I suppose you're right. Jay might be able to guide us a little too, although if we're going to be exploring more, I think our primary goal should be to find some kind of armour for Jay and I. Something light," She added, looking at Ace's heavy black coat, lying on the floor. She yawned again. "I should really have a shower..."
Ace smiled "I could see about making you armor" he said about the mention of a shower "Mind if I join you?" He said with a smerk He was more or less joking but would join her if she said yes
Max giggled, and thought for a moment. "As long as you don't tickle me again," She said, finally, kissing his cheek and rolling out of bed. She headed to the bathroom, and turned on the shower, waiting for the water to heat up before getting in.
