Ace looked at her tail witch he hadn't cleaned yet "ok" he said not arguing at her sudden outburst and began to clean himself
Max took a deep breath, and just let the water flow off her as she calmed herself down. She closed her eyes as the water ran through her mane, and after a while, she began to sing softly.
When she realised Ace was listening to her, Max blushed self-consciously, and stopped. "I, um... sorry," She mumbled, as she stepped out of the shower and wrapped herself in a towel, before heading into the bedroom to dry herself off.
"Max wait" he said trying to follow her Once he was in the bed room he approached her "what's wrong, your singing was beutiful" he told her as he put a hoof on her shoulder
"I-it's not that..." She said, sadly. "What you were doing to me in there... it was lovely," She explained, quietly, "and I wanted to keep going, but I... I just can't." She hung her head. "I'm sorry; I know I've disappointed you."
"You haven't disappointed me, but why can't you keep going" he asked pulling her face up so she would look at him
Max looked at him sadly. "I've told you what I've done, that I need to earn redemption?" She said, slowly, "It's a part of that; I haven't helped enough ponies yet to allow myself to feel good in that way."
(Just means your denying me the same thing) he thought as he sighed and pulled her in for a hug "then let's go help ponies" he said holding her for a moment before letting go and putting on his clothes
Max cheered up a bit at that, glad that he understood. She got off the bed and got dressed as well, before heading out to knock on Jay's door.
There was no awnser from her room Ace walked up and looked at the door and knocked himself Still nothing
No awnser Ace frowned an opened the door "jay?" He said walking in and looking around Nothing was out of place so far exept the door to the bedroom was closed
Max sat down hard, shaken by the thoughts that had been running through her head. "Let's just let her sleep a while longer," Max whispered, looking at Ace.
Ace shook his head "She must be a heavy sleeper" he said closing the door and headed back to they're room
Max thought a bit, as they walked back. "Just because I can't enjoy myself with you, it doesn't mean I can't make you feel good," She said, slowly as they sat on the bed once more. "It's unfair otherwise; you've done nothing wrong, so you shouldn't be punished too."
Max blushed and smiled a little shyly. "I mean, even though I'm not ready to do stuff together yet, I can still do stuff to you, if you want me to~" She gently slipped a hoof between his legs as she talked, to illustrate her point. Her conscious wouldn't allow her to be pleased by him in that way, but there was nothing wrong with her pleasing him; he was a good pony, and didn't deserve to be punished for her mistakes...
