Max smiled, a little uncertainly. "Sure, what is it?" She asked, wondering what kind of problem she might be having.
She lead her to the bath room as ace left his room and followed him "How do I use this?" She asked as she pointed at the shower
Max chuckled a little, and showed her how to turn it on, and how to adjust the temperature. "If you need anything else, just ask," She said. There were already fresh towels in the room from the cleaning robots, so Max headed out to give Jay some privacy.
"Um...max?" Jay said as a small blush formed "What's it for?" She asked She had been born after the mega spells and the atomic bombs fell She she had never taken a shower in her life nor did she know what to do So she was going to need a pony to help her....at least the first time
Max looked at her and smiled. "Well, it's like warm rain that you stand under to clean yourself," She explained, then blushed a bit. "I mean, I can show you how, if you want..."
Jay looked at it with a confused and worried look before turning back to max "please" she awnsered Ace took this opertunity to turn around and exit jays room "I'll be waiting in the lobby" he called as he headed for the elevator
"Well first you turn the water on, to let it warm up," She explained, turning one of the knobs with her magic, to start the shower. "Then you need to take your clothes off; you only shower with your clothes on if you're trying to be dramatic," She said, smiling and blushing a little, as she took her clothes off. "And then we get in the shower. Okay?" She turned the shower off again, and smiled at Jay. "Now you try."
Jay took off her clothes and turned on the water and put her hoof under it only to pull it back with a scream "Ow that's really hot!" She said holding her hoof as tears formed in her eyes
"Here, let me see," Max said, gently inspecting her hoof, before healing the scald and casting a cooling spell on it. "Better?" She asked, putting a hoof on Jay's shoulder. "I'm sorry; I forgot to mention that you should always let the water run for a few minutes, then test it carefully. If it's still too hot, turn this knob," She said as she turned the temperature knob down with her magic.
Jay nodded and waited a bit before trying again This time it proving to be warm Jay then stepped in slowly and then stood there "So now what?" He asked as she started to get wet
"Well, you wash yourself!" Max said, chuckling. She got in next to Jay and showed her how; taking a bar of soap for herself, and giving one to Jay, she sat down and worked the soap into her fur until it was all foamy.
Jay copied her movements and smiled She liked this Where she had finished washing her fur was no longer brown but a tan color And her mane a blue instead of the dark blue it had been
"You look very nice," Max said, smiling. The only evidence of the bullet wound was a small white scar on her chest. Max turned off the water, and levitated over a couple of towels. "Okay, now dry yourself off a bit, and then I'll show you how to tie the towel around your mane," She said, passing one to Jay.
Jay smiled "thank you max" she said taking a towel and drying off before grabing another to wrape her mane in
"No problem~ Now take the towel, and fold it like so..." She said, going through the steps with Jay, until they both had their manes firmly wrapped. "And done!" She announced, smiling. She cocked her head a little, and looked at Jay's leg. "How does it feel now?" She asked, touching it gently. "Does it still hurt when you walk?"
"Not really but my chest hurts if I breath heavily" she said as she grabbed her clothes to put back on
Max nodded, thoughtfully. "Well... I did have to repair some lung tissue, so it could just be the new material being a bit raw. If it gets any worse, let me know, but hopefully it'll get better on it's own." She put her own clothes back on, and smiled at Jay. "Let's go and find Ace then!"
"I was talking to Ace about making us some armour," Max said, as the walked, "I think it would be a good idea if we're going to be going outside a lot, so you should probably picks some clothes you can get armoured later." She blushed a little as she looked at Jay's skirt again. "Your current outfit is lovely, but it might not be very practical..."
