"Well, it doesn't offer a lot of protection; your legs are exposed!" Max explained, using it as an opportunity to check out Jay's flank again. "It could also get caught on something," She said, looking at the loose jacket.
Max smiled. "I know, and like I said; it looks very nice! Just, maybe when we go out, wear something a little more suitable?" "I don't want to be having to fix any more holes in you," She added, jokingly.
Jay smiled and hugged her again as they got on the elevator "Then could we go back to the laundry room?" She asked
"Sure, let's see if we can find something for you," Max said, hugging her back, before heading to the laundry room once the elevator stopped.
Jay followed her and began looking thru the clean laundry again Once they were done jay was in some jeans and a coltheart ((ponies version of carheart)) jacket with a grey tee shirt
"I'm sure that will be fine," Max said, nodding and smiling. "Now let's go and find Ace shall we? He's probably wondering where we got to..."
When they got to ace he was messing with his sniper rifle He then put it away and smiled at the sight of them "So...who is this stranger?" He asked knowing it was jay
Max chuckled. "She scrubs up okay, doesn't she?" She said, strapping on her holster, and putting on her saddlebags. "Everypony ready to go?"
Max paused for a moment, then gave Jay her 10mm pistol. "I'm not very good with it anyway," She said, smiling and picking up her hunting rifle.
"And your better at that?" Ace said smiling as he opened the front door and headed out Jay giggled at what ace said as she followed them
"I'm a lover, not a fighter!" Max protested, blushing a bit at Ace's comment. "Besides, I have you to protect me," She said, smiling at him as they walked back towards where they had found Jay. It wasn't hard; they just followed the blood trail...
Jays smiled slowly faded as she saw her blood She then sped up so she was inbetween ace and max "We need to take the stairs to the next floor up" she said guiding them to said stairs Ace looked at jay "im sorry" he said to her "sorry I shot you" he finished Jay gave him a smile In that moment she looked even more like her age A fourteen year old and not the adult she had to be
Max wrapped a hoof around her, hugging her gently as they walked. "Let's not dwell on the past," She said, softly, "Let's just concentrate on making the future better." (Wait...she's only fourteen? Well now Max sounds like a complete perv! )
((Most of the time she looks a lot older)) Jay rubbed a tear away and hugged back "At least I'm with ponies that I want to be with now" she said smiling
Jay smiled and lead them up the stairs Once they were on the second floor jay stopped seeing a pony laying on the floor dead from a shot thru the heart
Max stepped in front of her, blocking her view. "You don't have to keep going if you don't want to; if you tell me where it is, I can go and get it while Ace waits here with you," May said, gently, just hoping the dead pony wasn't a friend of Jay's. She knew there would be others.
Jay pushed max aside and ran up to the pony and kicked him "SERVES YOU RIGHT YOU JERK!" She screamed at him before kicking the pony once more and spitting on him She then steped around him and continued down the hall Ace looked at max in bewilderment
