"But try to avoid getting shot anyway," Max added, in a slightly concerned tone. She really did care for the young mare...
Her jeans were armored in the same way as maxs lower part of her jump suit and ace had left the tee shirt alone Jay ran up to ace and hugged him before running off to the elevators "Max....I've been thinking" he started before she could leave
"Well I've been thinking that we should.......adopt her.....or at least formally accept her calling us her parents" he said hoping she was fine with this
"I... wha?" Max stammered, looking a little shocked and a little confused. "I don't... I can't... I'm not ready to be a mother!" Max protested, a bit shaken.
"Max..." Ace said putting a hoof on her shoulder "your not giving birth....you'll becoming the mother figure this young mare needs, plus she's already called you mom already" he said hoping she understood what he was meaning
"But... I don't know how to be a mother! And I certainly wouldn't be a good role model..." Max sighed, and shook her head. "I don't know, I... I need time to think about it."
"You think about it then" he said hugging her before standing up "But until then we have a problem" he said more bing her with his tail to follow him
Max stood up and blushed a little at his tail on her flank. "What now?" She asked, a little exasperated. Was this sudden life decision not a big enough problem on it's own? She sighed a little and brushed up close against Ace as they walked.
Ace smiled at her closeness Then they went into the furnace room and opened the door, reviling a red water talisman, only red ment it was heat, And there was a ugly crack in the middle of it and chunks on the floor "We may not actualy have heating" he said knowing it was already getting cold outside so they needed to figure out something quick
"Hmm, that is a problem," Max said, looking at the talisman with concern. "I don't suppose you can fix it?" She asked, looking hopeful.
"Well if you can't repair it, we'll just have to find a replacement; any idea where else would have one?" Max asked, poking the ruined talisman a bit. "What does the mainframe say? Are there any in storage perhaps?"
The talisman crumbled and fell "I can't find any and don't know where to find one" ace said looking down Like he disappointed her
"Hey, it's not your fault," Max said, raising his chin with a hoof and smiling at him. "Let's go and search the mainframe's information banks, okay? I'm sure it'll point us in the right direction."
Ace smiled "Fine....oh, and I fixed computer screen so you can access the data banks whenever you want" he said as he walked with her there
"I'm sure that will be very useful," Max said, nuzzling his cheek a little. "Show me how it works?" She asked, a little embarrassed about her lack of computer knowledge.
Ace walked up to it and showed her what it all did "And when your done you press this button till your at the home screen then press it once more and it will turn it off" he told her smiling
