Max held him close, and buried her face in his mane. "But what about Jay?" She asked, still afraid. "When she finds out what I did, she'll leave for sure!"
"I'm going to talk to her....tell her what I know....make sure she dosent do something stupid" he told her "alone" he pointed out
"Alright," Max said, nodding sadly. "I'll just... I don't know... wait here, I suppose..." It occurred to her as she said it that all her plans involved Jay or Ace; with out them she was lost...
Max sighed as she watched him go, then fiddled aimlessly with the database terminal, waiting for him to return.
Ace shook his head "She just is using the bathroom....though she might give you the cold shoulder for a wail" he said putting a hoof around her
"The cold shoulder?" Max looked at him, disbelievingly, "Did you... did you tell her everything?" She'd thought for sure the young mare would run from her if she knew what she'd done, could it be possible she would stay?
Ace nodded "She doesn't want to talk to you" he told her "But I think she understands that you had no choice"
Max nodded; it wasn't good, but it was better than she had thought it would be... "Where is she now?" She asked, looking at Ace, suddenly very tired.
Max nodded again. "Take me back to our room?" She pleaded, looking up at him, wanting to rest now. She'd deal with everything else tomorrow.
Ace smiled and picked her up after nuzzling her again "Anything for you" he said carrying her to the elevator
Max sat in the elevator, and kissed Ace's cheek. "Thank you Ace," She said, still a little downbeat, "For everything."
Ace put around her "Your welcome" he said as they sat there holding eachother Once they were at they're floor ace picked her up again and brought her to the bed and set her down before giving her a long kiss
Max kissed him back, and wrapped her hooves around him, holding him close. She didn't want to let him go, and nuzzled him gently with closed eyes. (S'alright,)
