"Sure," Eris said, smiling. "What ever you want love~" She turned the tv on with her magic, and floated the remote over to Flutters.
Flutters found the movie and put it on. Snuggling into Eris, she watched happily. Two hours passed, the movie finally ended. "What did you think of it?" she said while looking at Eris who seemed to have tears in her eyes.
"Huh?" Eris asked, quickly wiping her eyes. "Oh, well, you know..." She teared up again and buried her head in Flutters' lap.
"No I don't know. Tell me," Flutters said. She looked at Eris, who was buried into her lap. "We can talk about it in bed."
Eris got on the bed and hugged Flutters closely. "It made me sad," She said, finally. "I don't want to lose you..." She closed her eyes and buried her face in Flutters' chest. For some reason, she hadn't thought about it before, but the film had made her realise that she was immortal, and Flutters wasn't...
Flutters looked at Eris lovingly and said, "You won't lose me. At least not for a long time, when I'm old and probably in a wheelchair." She giggled at the thought of Eris pushing her around. Looking at Eris, she moved her body to fit Eris' and cuddled.
That just made Eris feel worse, and she started crying again as Flutters cuddled her. She didn't know if she would be able to handle watching Flutters grow old and eventually pass away, especially not when she knew she herself wouldn't even age during that time...
"It will be alright babe," Flutters said. She knew Eris was upset but the time came they would figure something else.
Eris sniffed a bit, and nuzzled Flutters' mane, not wanting to let her go. "You're so wonderful," She said, quietly.
Flutters nuzzled Eris. "maybe tonight we should just sleep," she thought. "Well babe, I think we should go to sleep. Enough excitement for a night don't you think?" she said.
"Yeah, alright," Eris said, drying her eyes and reluctantly letting go of Flutters so that she could climb into bed. "Sounds nice." She got under the sheets and looked at Flutters. "Can we talk about the wedding a bit before we sleep though?" She asked, smiling a little.
Flutters looked at Eris and nodded. "What did you have in mind as far as the music and who will actually be marrying us?" she said. She sensed that Eris would want Tia or Luna to perform it.
"Well I thought we could ask Luna to perform the ceremony, and maybe have Octavia or Velvet Remedy to do the music?" Eris suggested, yawning a bit, "Live music's more fun..."
"Luna is totally fine. As for the music, we shall still see on," Flutters said kissing Eris' cheek then yawns. Shortly after, she has fallen asleep.
Eris smiled and stroked her mane a little, nuzzling it as she too fell asleep. Her worried about outliving Fluttershy were still lingering in her mind however, and nightmares kept her from sleeping properly; she woke several times in the night, immensely relived to find Flutters still beside her, before drifting off into an uneasy sleep again.
Flutters woke up, still tired but knew she had to get up and get ready for work. She quietly got out of bed and went into the bathroom to get washed up. Once she was done, she looked into the room where Eris was still sleeping. "crap! I can't even stay a few minutes! now I have to get coffee on the way," she thought. Flutters walked next to Eris and kissed her forehead. She walked downstairs and wrote a note for Eris. *hey babe, I'm sorry I didn't wake you up. I had to hurry to work. See you in a few hours. xoxox*
A little while later, Eris woke, and panicked when she couldn't see Fluttershy anywhere. "Flutters...?" She got up and looked around the house frantically, until she found the note, then nodded sadly to herself, and started making breakfast. She wished she could convince Flutters to stop going to work. She hated being away from her for so long, and it wasn't like they needed the money; Eris could just conjure up anything they needed. She looked at the clock as she ate, and wondered about surprising Flutters at work with a nice picnic for lunch...
