In this episode, Pinkie Pie has difficulties of keeping a secret aboutPrincess Cadance and Shining Armor.
Has Pinkie ever had trouble keeping secrets before? I haven't seen the whole series so I don't know. I would think she's thrown a few surprise parties in her time. It was an okay ep. There were others in the season I liked better.
So my community after watching that what are your guys accusations on Twilight's new sibling what is her name going to be and what he/she will look like for those who seen it
Sparky: Well, that was... a Pinkie Pie episode. Kinda cool to see how well Pinks is able to practice what she preaches. That's an interesting undertone since they make no reference to the events of "Green Isn't Your Color." Anyhoo, tidbits... staying consistent with the foal theme... Zee Derp is indeed zee Dink's mommy!!! Overall, a favorable 6/10.
This was better than I expected, considering who wrote it. Kinda reminded me of a Season One episode.
It was "meh" for me. I didn't really have a reason to love it to despise it. I don't like Pinkie really and I don't like kids so I wasn't expecting to love it. I thought there were a few funny things added in to it though. I don't really mind if there will be a baby added... I just hope they don't make it a point to constantly center things around it. If it's not too overall changing, I'm pretty indifferent.
It didn't feel at all like an MLP episode, it was basically an announcement wrapped up in a 22 minute Spongebob episode.
It was written by G.M. Berrow, who's best known in the fandom for writing the official (but not show-canon) books. If the books are any indication, Berrow has only a basic knowledge of the show's canon. That may explain why just about every gimmick Pinkie ever used made rather obvious and exaggerated appearances in the episode.
Er how is Derpy Hoove's the mother of Dinky Doo when Dinky Doo's sister is Amethyst Star? I can see Dinky being Derp's sister but Derp got lost so Amethyst filled in at the Social, but it just doesn't seem likely to me that Derpy is a mother.
That was more me being funny. Nothing was really confirmed either way. That would imply that Pinkie's actions are not exaggerated to begin with.
I liked this episode, I really did. I just wish that it had been written by somebody who actually understood the main character.
I certainly agree, but the fact that she wasn't a downright terrible person like she has been in just about all her episodes for the past three years puts it at least above those.
