The door then opened Jay standing there her rear to max She was shaking and was holding aces sword Several robots lied dead around the room along with all of jays clothes and saddle bags Except her coat and shirt
"J-Jay?" Max said, still lying on the floor, tears streaking her cheeks, hardly believing it could be true; could she really have survived?
Jay still just stood there shaking After a few more seconds she dropped aces sword and stepped back before tripping over max and began screaming and thrashing She seamed to think max was another death bot
"Jay, it's me, Max," Max said, soothingly, her nose bleeding where one of Jay's flailing limbs had caught her in the face. She didn't care about that though. She didn't care about anything other than the fact that by some miracle, Jay was still alive. She tried to get Jay to calm down and look at her.
Jay slowly calmed down before realizing that it was max and then began hugging her tightly "I....I thought I heard somepony calling for help" she cryed
"Shhh.... It's alright love," Max said, in as soothing a voice as she could manage, hugging Jay back, and nuzzling her softly, as she managed to sit up a bit.
Jay held her tight untill she stopped crying When she did she just laid there with her Her pants and panties had been shredded so all she had on was her coat and shirt 'Did you find jay' ace aske on her pipbuck
'yes' Max sent back, before turning her attention to Jay, still holding her close as they sat at the doorway to the chamber. "Are you alright, Jay?" Max asked, looking her over for any cuts or burns.
She had several but all wernt harmful She had been too quick for the bots She shakily nodded her head "What about you? What happened?" She asked not knowing she did that
Max healed all of Jay's minor wounds, before nodding wearily. "It doesn't matter; as long as you're safe... All the fear and panic Max had been blocking out finally caught up to her, and she collapsed to the floor again, vomiting before passing out.
Max blinked a few times as she woke up, looking at her surroundings; she recognised it instantly, having spent most of her life there. She was in her clinic, but... how? "W-What....?" She stuttered, groggily.
Ace looked at her and leaned her back "Max, you passed out, calm down" he told her Jay looked like she had been crying a lot and and ace had her tears on his shirt "How do you feel?" He asked
Max didn't hear him; she was too busy staring fearfully around at the room. "Why are we here?" she whimpered, quietly, "I don't want to be here..." She was lying on her examination table, where she had sedated the last two dozen or so ponies to be sent to the sacrifice chamber. Their faces flashed though her mind, and she covered her eyes with her hooves, shaking her head and trembling. "No... no.... I'm so sorry!" She screamed, trying to get them out of her head.
Jay started to cry again as max began to freak out Ace looked at her dumb founded He then grabbed her shoulders and shook her "MAX!" He yelled
Max gritted her teeth and covered her ears with her hooves, hearing more ponies than just Ace calling her name. "Shut up! Shut up!" She screamed at the voices, as they asked her why they had to die. She struggled against Ace's grip, trying to escape from the room.
Jay was fully crying again Ace didn't know what to do He had one card left and he was going to have to play it He then struck max acrossed the face, hoping that would snap her out of her dilution
Max stopped screaming as he slapped her, and fixed her eyes on the floor. "I'm sorry..." She said hollowly, as if through some automatic reaction to being hit. She remained quiet, but went rigid on the table, and avoided Ace's eyes.
Ace forced her to look at him He then kissed her Once he backed off he looked her dead in the eyes "Please don't ever scare me like that again" he said as a few tears rolled down his cheek Jay was still crying behind ace
Max slowly focused on Ace, still looking confused and upset, but forcing herself to smile a little. "Only if Jay make the same promise," She said, quietly, looking at the young mare.
