Ace stormed up to her and hit her "BECAUSE!" He yelled "YOUR NOT LEAVING ME.....NOT THROUGH SUICIDE!" "What is wrong with you? Jay nearly dies and you go bucking insane! Your in where you live, yes you have some deamons but I need you, not just for my memory but physilcly too. If I lost you I don't know what I would do"
Max fell back as he hit her, landing on the floor next to one of the dead ponies. She curled up and sobbed, hiding her face with her hooves. Why couldn't she just die? She'd felt so certain... It'd felt so right... "I didn't want to hurt you," She mumbled, still sobbing, "I just... I can't... the voices..."
"Max....they're not real, the only things alive are you jay and me.....those voices are all in your head and you can't listen to them" he said holdin her head with his hooves
Max looked up at him sadly. "But they were real... until I killed them..." She sniffed. "You wouldn't understand; you've never murdered anypony..."
"Max.....I've kept it away from you but I remembered something, I'm not shareing but I know what your going thru.....and the voices are not real now....not will they ever be cause they're dead" he then pointed at two of the ponies, first the male then a female "He's dead, she's dead, they're all dead!" He told her before turning back to her "But you, me, and jay are alive"
Aces voice softened as he wraped her in his hooves "Please promise me you'll never try to do this again" he requested
"Max...." He said sterner "....no......it wasn't a request it was an order.....what if silver was the one to walk in and saw her blow your brains out.....she's already traumatized enough as it is"
((Hover Dam!)) Ace sighed "then promise you wont try this again" he said, his hooves shaking from all the dress he's had to deal with today
Max looked at him. "I can't lie to you, Ace..." She said, simply, before hanging her head and hugging him tentatively.
He then looked at her eyes "Thank you" he then kissed her before picking her up and leaving the dissembled gun there
Max lay quietly on Ace's back as he carried her, looking blankly at the familiar places they passed again. She sighed, and stared sadly at the floor instead.
When they got back jay was still sleeping set max down on the bed and then laid next to her so she couldn't get up with out waking ace "Max......I love you" he said before liaising her cheek He felt like she needed to be reminded that she had a loving family
Max held Jay gently as Ace laid her down, comforted a little by her presence. "I love you too," She relied, quietly, "Both of you. Please don't think that I don't." She closed her eyes, cuddling Jay, and snuggling her back into Ace a little. She still thought they would be better off without her, but she knew Ace wouldn't let her out of his sight again now for a while, so she allowed herself the comfort.
Ace laid there petting maxs mane till she was asleep He then laid down and let slumber take him aswell When max woke up she would see jay She was trying to stitch back to gether Sammy's paw but he's hooves were shaking too much and she must not be able to concentrate on her magic Ace was still sleeping, his hoof protectively around maxs waist
"Jay?" Max said, waking and slowly opening her eyes, "What are you doing?" She rubbed her eyes with her hooves, and sat up a little.
