Arcus' eyes widened, as the mare turned backwards, and... Started to fall. Oooooof course. Acting quickly, he dove forwards and off the tree, ending up under her. He swiftly grabbed her and pulled her into his hooves... The rad scorpions were snapping under him... "... You just had to fall, didn't you?" Arcus raised an eyebrow at the mare. He couldn't fight back the scorpions, since his knives were sheathed in the sleeves of his forelegs. "And before anything... You wouldn't happen to be after my bounty, right?"
Ace opened his mouth Then closed it "Yes it did, it's complicated, an I don't think you need to know why I'm here" he told her
she shrugged. "fair enough. Although...... can you track a pegasus?" she asked casually, not really expecting any help. "my target spends most of his time flying, so their rather hard for me to track"

"my target is gray, yes" she said, a triumphant smirk appearing on her face. "could you kindly lead me to them?" She decided she might want to keep in touch with this stallion after this. he could be useful......
ace frowned he was always able to be stern with other ponies but lullaby always found his sweet spot "fine but WE'RE staying in the trees" he said before he jestued for her to lead them around
Arcus nodded, well, that was a relief! At least he won't have to worry about dying while dealing with... well, radscorpions. "Good, now if you'll excuse me..." Arcus grinned, dropping Taffy back onto the tree, and with a flick of his forehooves, extending the long ballistic blades worn on them. "I've got some hunting to do." he chuckled, pointing the blades at the scorpions, and slamming the triggers together, causing the blades to fire out and impale two. Quickly pulling the blades back, he fired them again and again, wiping out the horde of scorpions one by one...
