"You... never seen an alicorn?" Darky asked her as he walked to where she landed. "Do this seems real to you?" He then booped her to show he was real.
Arcus sighed in relief, laughing loudly when Darky booped Taffy. "Phew, well, that's a relief! I thought people were getting desperate enough to send alicorns after me..." he chuckled, flipping his blades back into position.
Taffy scrunched her nose and nearly fell out of the tree again, catching herself just in time. "Alright... Ah guess you're real..." She admitted, rubbing her nose. She decided to climb down out of the tree, before something else made her fall; it seemed safe enough now... "But what are you?" She tried to remember the word the pegasus had used, "An Ali... what?"
Darky giggled a bit at that and smiled to her once she moved down. "Alicorn. Half pegasus, half unicorn." He explained to her. "But if you find others, dont trust them." He said with a small frown. "But I doubt we will."
Ace nodded "Normally what gets a bounty" ace agreed as they walked not knowing the two of them were about to run into lullaby, and her group
"They sure are taking there sweet time walking thru the trees" lucky chimed as he waited with lullaby and thunder for the new comers
Arcus dropped down from the tree, standing near the two. "I'd like to avoid any other alicorns, if possible? Y'know, cause, they might kill us? And stuff?" he chuckled, drawing his bow, and lazily plucking the string. His eyes widened, though as he realized and voiced one important fact: "And speaking of meeting... What the hell even are your names?"
"Um... it's Taffy..." Taffy said, smiling a little as she tapped the hoof-stitched lettering on the front of her overalls. Sure enough, it read 'Taffy'. "Pleased t' meetcha!" She said, offering her blackened hoof towards the two stallions.
"Taffy? Well, My name is Darkness Knight." He calmly said to her as he let out a small smile snd shook her hoof.
"Mhm, well, pleased to meet you both, Taffy and Dark. I'm Arcus." Arcus tilted his head towards the two, propping the end of his bow up against the ground. "And if I may ask, what's an alicorn like you wandering 'round here for? Can get pretty crazy out here... Case in point, Taffy's radscorpion run-in." he chuckled, turning to face the two, and shaking his head, loosing his dark brown mane from the confines of his armor.
Taffy shook Darky's hoof happily, then blushed a little at Arcus' comment. She went to retrieve her beloved tools while the two talked.
"I've been traveling around,.. looking for something..." Darky said calmly to him. ----- Lullaby nodded. "Yeah." She said, then hid on a bush to see who it was
"does that thing tell you how far away he is?" Qaline said, gesturing at the pipbuck as they walked out of the trees
"No not really" ace said to her "It dosnt have measurements on it sence I was attacked by a deathclaw...it hit the pipbuck and messed up the screen there"
As the two advanced, they soon passed next to thr bush Lullaby was. She smirked snd jumped behind them, her 10 mm gun ready. "Stop right there!" She said
As pulled his magnum and his sniper at the same time and aimed them at lullaby "No you sto-" Thunder then stepped out His heavy explosives battle saddle ready to fire Lucky also stepped out his battle saddle ready to shot aswell "Right....stopping" ace said as he set his guns down
Lullaby smirked. It was so good to have her stallion and his best friend to help. "So, now. Who are you and what are you doing here?" She asked them calmly
Arcus nodded, looking Darky up and down. He definitely looked well enough to be traveling alone... But was he? "Alone? Much safer to go out in groups, y'know. Unless you've got no friends like me, no choice then!" Arcus chuckled, idly tilting his head to the side.
Qaline sighed. "did you really expect her to be alone?" she said exasperatedly. "honestly. like I said, we're hunting"
