I've had problems with a certain user for a while now, who has been continuously responding to anyone that has an opinion he doesn't like with insults and hate for at least a few months. I've been generally just ignoring him and reporting, but it's only gotten worse with him now responding to posts about episodes with stuff like this. I hope a mod will take a look through his history and maybe offer a warning so he doesn't think that kind of thing is okay.
"A certain user," huh? If you've got a problem with me, why not come to me about it? Maybe then we could have worked this out like adults. You know what pisses me off more than anything? People who run to others to fix their problems rather than facing the problem themselves. You already know what my problem is with you. I think I've been pretty damn upfront about it. So now it's your turn. If you've got something to say to me, then *squee!*ING SAY IT!
I actually care about where I am, and the rules of the board. I'm not going to start an argument with a child who only knows how to insult. But I'm glad you at least made this easy for the mods, so thanks.
I find it rather ironic that you claim that I'm the one that's insulting. Every week you you show up with a new complaint about a show that you clearly don't even like, insulting the writers, the fans, and basically anyone who disagrees with your toxic opinion. As I've said countless times in the past, THAT is my problem with you. Your constant stream of negativity against something that I and many others enjoy is detracting from the experience. Quite frankly, I think you should just stop watching the show. If it's so horrible, I don't see why you bother with it anymore. I'm not trying to start a fight. You already did that by posting this thread. A thread which, technically, is in violation of site rules.
Quite frankly, I think you should stop following my posts. If they're so horrible, I don't see why you bother with it anymore. Your constant stream of negativity against my posts is detracting from my experience here.
I have no choice but to see your posts when I'm reading the threads. On the other hand, you do have the choice to stop posting them. All I ever asked you to do is to be a little less abrasive with your opinions about the show. Considering this is first and foremost a site for people who enjoy the show, I don't think that's an unreasonable request.
Oh, I think I can solve your problem! Try clicking on my name in this post right here, and look for the little button that says "ignore". And there you go!
Can I take that to mean that you intend to continue doing as you please in spite of what others think?
You know, this discussion is entirely unproductive. If you feel that there are rules being broken, please, feel free to report the offending material. We review each and every report that comes through. And, if you feel that your concerns are still overlooked, please contact a staff member directly and voice your concerns. But making threads like this is really not in the spirit of the forum; singling out users and blatant finger pointing is really discourteous, even if you feel that it is not unjustified. All it really ever ends with is... Basically this, honestly. Arguments, passive aggressive nonsense, bad blood, etc. A lot of stuff that really doesn't fall into the spheres of what people want to see when they visit an online community. Again, feel free to contact a staff member one-on-one! But making public threads about disputes with other users is just asking for trouble.
