http://www.equestriadaily.com/2015/11/large-box-office-site-box-office-mojo.html#idc-container What do you think? Is it accurate?
It clearly said that the website in question takes their information seriously. So probably. But we'll have to wait and see to know for sure.
I know this might sound like Tarn, but if the recent episodes are any indication, I'm not looking forward to the movie. Maybe they need the two years to get their act together.
That's a pretty long time to wait. Provided I'm still a brony by that time, I would consider watching it.
Considering that they already have plans for the next 'x' seasons of the show, it's more than likely that they'll be coming out with a movie. The production value of the show is already quite astonishing so I'm hoping for at least a double in the movie. We might even get a 3D feature film. They'll still be limited on what they can do, given the nature of the show, but I'm still hoping for at least three epic movie explosions. They've already made three EG movies so it's very likely that this information is accurate. I'd teeter more on saying it's approximate as release dates change. At any rate, I choose to believe they are working on a movie and it will be released late 2017. -Nights
Do you guys think Season 6/whatever Season is going on at the time should lead up to or lead in to the 2017 movie? I think it should. It'd be a good way to not only promote the movie, but, to keep people guessing until the movie comes out and the movie would tie up all loose ends so to speak. It'd make sense, but, I guess that's just my thinking. This should especially be the case if the 2017 movie villain ends up being... Spoiler Nightmare Celestia, a.k.a. Nightmare Star from that TCG card. S6 could show how or why Celestia gets influenced by Nightmare forces and 2017 movie has it occur, it's effects, and it's resolution. Again though, I'm just being hopeful and putting out ideas I guess.
