    Do what I do.

    Purchase large quantities of clothing and decorations for Christmas and Valentine's Day. Wear and set up the paraphernalia for each of the two holidays during the season in which the other takes place. You will have successfully created a holiday-proof zone by turning their own corporate Hallmark power against them.

    The real kicker is that I enjoy both of those holidays immensely.
