    Well, Mane 6 is too manestream. :D

    I like Derpy's real-life backstory, as an animation error became somewhat of a mascot of the brony community. I like how her personality is the totally opposite of a mary sue character - she's not a hero, not the choosen one, just an average, kind pony, who is working hard and making mistakes. (Hm... I just realized I like Applejack for the very same thing.) And being a Doctor Who fan as well, I like her depiction as Time Turner's companion in the fan works.
