    Why is it that most of the male characters in this show are either villains, *squee!*s, or one-dimensional? I'm not saying they have to be as developed as the females, but more that aren't the three categories I just listed would be nice.

    I wouldn't rule it out but mainly just try to enjoy what the show does give us. Hell, Discord still has a long way to go.

    I dunno. You could dig plenty of stuff out of this.

    Though, yeah. It's likely because it's intended as a girls show. Token or jokey boys don't get much development much like how we've got token or jokey girls in everything else.

    Even if they are villains, they're still pretty well written. Discord and Sombra are really memorable and cool, at least for me.

    But I agree there needs to be more male characters that actually play a part in the story, and on the good side. What do we have other than purple lizard, Big Mac, and Shining Armor? Mr. Cake :/
