"I suppose when all the plants are dead, it's hard to tell," Mad said, sadly, "It will be nice if we can get something growing in the hospital; I think it might give ponies hope, as well as food..."
"Ya it would be nice to have some new life in this world" he said, meaning more then just plants as he thought of snow and her foul
Max nodded, then smiled suddenly and pointed. "There! The statue!" She said, excitedly, "This is the park! The vet should be around here somewhere..." She looked around, but couldn't remember exactly where it had been.
Ace leaned back away from the raised hoof before he ran into it "Well...let's look for a vetranarians office" he said smiling at her enthusiasm
Max nodded, still scanning the area, then smiled as she spotted a low, long building. "That's it, I think," She said, having calmed down a little, "It was a brand new building when I was a filly..."
Ace walked pasted her by a little bit "Well I guess that means it's got some high tech goodies right?" He joked
"It means it has hi-tec security," Max replied, quietly, looking at the yellow, pony-shaped robots slowly clanking around the perimeter of the building. "But... I suppose that means the building probably hasn't been looted," She added, trying to sound positive.
Ace was already pulling out his sniper and looked thru the scope "Yup.......I don't even remember that model type....so I guess it's got the latest and greatest" he said as he stopped looking at the bots and began looking at the area around "You think they might let us in if we ask for help with an animal?" He suggested
"Hmm..." Max pondered, stroking her chin, "Maybe..." She looked at the roboponies again; they did look quite formidable, and there were a lot of them... "Well, I'd say it's worth a try," She said, finally, "It's not going to be easy to shoot our way in, and even if we manage it, the gunfire's bound to draw unwanted attention."
"Ok....just stay behind me...if they start shooting I'm more bullet proof then you" he reminded as he began to make his way over
"They have lasers," Max pointed out, smiling slightly, but staying behind him as he asked. "Halt! This is a restricted area." One of the strange robots announced, trotting over to block their path, pointing it's weapons at them.
"This is Sargent Ace...I request military override" he said wondering if that would work like it did at the hospital
The robot stopped for a moment, obviously processing. "I am sorry Sargent, but this is not a military facility. I can escort you to the facility's chief administrator if you require assistance." It buzzed.
Ace looked at it confused "Wait...you can converse....like a pony?....what's your model?" He asked now curious and forgetting what they were there for
"I am a House Tec Accupony." The robopony replied, "The finest in equine robotics. If you require assistance, please follow me, otherwise, please exit the security perimeter." "Ace," Max whispered, "We're not here to look at the interesting robots..."
"Sorry" ace said blushing before he cleared his throat "Can you take us to your chief administrator" he said to the robot
The robot turned to scan Max, then nodded. "Of course. Sargent, Doctor, please follow me." The robopony buzzed, before heading towards the building, the doors gliding silently open as they approached.
