(As I'm not too sure about the physical characteristics of hard light, which makes up most of a Gem's body, I'd just go with what they might whey as if they were made of flesh and blood.) Description: A very tall, broad, and muscular gem, larger in size even when compared to most Quartz Gem warriors. Though at one point, like any known Gem, (that we know of so far), Obsidian has taken a male form, in fact, a heavily masculine one, with short hair and a rather large beard and moustache which are a castiron colour, and an ovalish face with a strong, wide jaw. His skin is a very light grey, with similar colored eyes, his eyes a similar color. He has a preference for human clothing, unlike other gems, and often wears a white tank top, a black leather jacket, faded black jeans, and black biker boots. Often, he wears black aviator shades with a silver frame. His gem is on the bottom of the back of his neck. Weapon: Bowie Knife Likes: Humans, motorcycles, rock music, vikings, food, good movies, seafood, cold temperatures, facial hair Dislikes: Bullies, strict guidelines, cruelty to animals, people who talk too much History/Personality: A cool, laid back, and fun loving Gem who has spent a very long time on Earth, and due to a very curious nature, began to mix in with humans. One of his favorite times was interacting with the ancient Norse people, who he picked up some of their traditions, as well as a love for fun and food, and studying them was how he decided to take on a masculine form. He has met the Crystal Gems before, and while he gets along with them all, has a particular enjoyment of Amethyst. His history with them goes back to the start of the revolution, and was known for his unorthodox guerilla tactics, often implementing traps and ambushes. He was also adept in various forms of subterfuge, sometimes disguising himself as the enemy, or simply being camouflaged into his surroundings, allowing him to be very adept to sabotage, or simply gather intelligence. Although he hasn't met Steven before, he was good friends with Greg, even being in a temporary band with him, Yellowtail, Vidalia and Amethyst. Shortly prior to Steven's birth, Obsidian had set out on his own. Now, he's returned to Beach City, the Crystal Gems however remaining unaware of his return...

When the rebellion started, she was left behind while Blue Diamond went down to deal with the problem. After the victory of the Crytal Gems and the subsequent abandonment of Earth by Homeworld, Moonstone was forgotten about in the confusion. She spent the following millennia looking after the outpost and wandering the moon with noone but herself for company. In 1951, she discovered a secret Nazi moonbase, and accidentally blew it up while borrowing one of their rockets for a quick trip to Earth. After landing, she quickly fell in love with human culture, and had little trouble integrating into human society. Unfortunately, she has yet to realize how quickly human society changes, and still prefers the human customs she learned when she landed.

Name: Cobalt Quartz Species: Gem Gem Type: Quartz Gender: Male Age: Around 6000 years. Height: 5'8 Weight: 130 lbs Description: A deep blue gem with a build similar to Pearl's, albeit a bit more bulky. His hair is a lighter shade of blue from his body, wavy and goes down to about his neck. His Gem is located on his solar plexus. Weapon: Scythe Likes: Freedom, Privacy, discovering new aspects of himself. Dislikes: Authority, delays, manipulation, and especially Blue Diamond. History/Personality: Created for the sole purpose of being Blue Diamond's enforcer on Earth, Cobalt had known nothing but the crucible of war and chain of command from a early point in his life. He was to have a control device implanted on him to heavily restrict his free will, but due to the rapidly increasing and threatening rebellion on Earth, he was dispatched there early, with the device only partially complete. On Earth, he conducted many missions off the books, including the elimination of high value leaders to the rebellion, interrogation, and torture. However, during a routine interrogation, he was presented with Emerald. Emerald was a special gem. She could read others minds, even across billions of lightyears. During the interrogation, Emerald revealed much of Blue Diamond's plan to Cobalt. That he was being controlled, that he would be disposed of when he was no longer needed. Cobalt was in denial. Then she proceeded to delve into his mind, revealing that he longed for peace, to know things other than war and subterfuge. Nobody had known Cobalt so well, he didn't even know himself that well. He loved Emerald. His mix of emotions was unbearable, and in a combination of rage for her toying with his mind, and anger for what Blue Diamond would do to him, he shattered Emerald with his weapon, at the time a simple sword. Overwhelmed with grief, he went AWOL, and escaped into a nearby forest with Emerald's gem shards, and he poofed himself with his sword. When he reformed, the Rebellion was long over and he reformed with the weapon of his victim, a scythe. He now searches the world of the present to find any remains of the Crystal Gems and redeem himself.

Height: 5'5 Weight: 101 Description: Spoiler: Gem located on the back of her neck Weapon: Katana Likes: Silence, peace, tranquility, time to think. Dislikes: Quick decisions, constant noise. History/Personality: Lepi had a very boring life, constantly doing the same things on a daily basis. The invasion of earth was one of the more exciting things that has happened to her, to which she got to use her katana, which she had obtained quite the skill at. The earth was very different from her homeworld, and she wasted no time exploring. Completely ignoring any and all rules that had obtained to her, she spent many years traveling and studying cultures. As time went, she kept up with the changes of the world, though her personality had altered from curious and outgoing to quiet and secluded. She is mostly interested in learning, but tends to have somewhat of a god complex. She believes skills are better than most, but hasn't seen any gems for quite some time. She learned to appreciate Earth, but hid for awhile, busying herself studies and other things. Not great, might change the history. Just eh.

OH GOD *squee!*ING DAMMIT. As much as I enjoyed that last episode, it requires me to redo at least part of Moonstone's backstory. I'll do it tomorrow.

Likes: Respect, Freedom, Loyalty Dislikes: Cruelty, Disrespect, Betrayal Personality: Tektite is highly perceptive, intelligent and quick-witted while keeping a perpetually cool, slightly neutral or disinterested attitude. Tektite usually tends to keep his emotions to himself, out of a feeling that people can read him just out of observation. If anyone hasn't made him angry, he is usually calm and satisfied. History: Originally from the Homeworld, Tekite originally served the Great Diamond Authority directly as a young but talented operative. Originally, once the Invasion of Earth occurred, Tektite was convinced to defect to the Crystal Gems after plans were discovered that he was going to be betrayed after the invasion and shattered after being seen as a rogue threat. After the war, he left Earth to act as a drifter for several millennia before returning to Earth during the 1980's, seeking any surviving crystal gems before finally heading towards Beach City some thirty years later.
I noticed the RP slowed down it is too late to join? I've started watching the show and now I'm kind of interested. Couple other curiosities, it's said that all the Gem monsters used to be jem people like the Crystals, and also while I haven't got far enough I saw in Wikiapedia that there are multiples of some gems. I was kind of wondering if I could create a character with the same jem as the centerpeedle. Not sure what the gem would be accept that it's green. Kind of got the idea in my head that the weapon be like a bat'leth from star trek.

When female 5'8" butt length bushy white hair, light green skin, dark green eyes modest figure. When female Mal often wears human clothes rather than creating her own. She keeps her gem cover with long sleeves. Weapon: Bat'leth Likes: When male: Transforming Robot Dudes, Root beer. When female Transforming Robot Dudes, Cherry Cola, clothes. Dislikes: Having to stay one gender for longer than a day. Scary Movies, even the lame ones. G.U.Y.S. His acid spit. History:Mal was very young when he was sent to earth to fight in the gem wars. Most Tourmalines were effective soldier, but Mal was didn't fit the mold of his brothers. Upon arrival to earth he immediately fled. Not wanting to partake in the fighting at all he hid himself among the native creatures. When the war ended he started to live among the humans. At first he would stayed in one area change his form and gender every 50 or so years to make it appear as if he belonged to a family line. Over time though he gained a distaste for staying in one form for any great length of time. Ultimately he decided upon two forms and travel more frequently so people wouldn't ask how he had lived so long. Personality: While Mal has two form, for the most part they share the same personality with the primary difference being his females form's love of human made clothes. Doesn't really care for fighting and is very unskilled with his weapon. He is fascinated by human "magic" and is a skilled practitioner learning tricks from famous human magicians through out the ages. He uses talent in "magic" to support himself. Much of his income goes to his unhealthy love of the converting toys Transforming Robot Dudes. Okay how's this?

After the war was over,she went to Earth to see how terrible it had become. After seeing the war,she vowed to make sure that nothing the Gem War would happen again,but she never actually knew who or what the crystal gems were so she originally though she was the only one who wanted to protect Earth.
