It is most definitely not a mod. A link to the profile of the person in question would be nice so I could see what you're talking about. User search for "Not Dan" comes up empty.
So I can confirm that this was not in fact me, seeing as I was made aware of the trolling happening in that chat. If it makes you feel any better, I was against it, just as I was against the impersonation attempt that caused me to create this particular account. That said, this tells me who dun it, but I ain't no snitch.

Honestly, I'd be impressed if you guessed even one of the people. Hell, I can even give a few hints. Of the people involved, only one person was ever active on this forum, and is not currently one. Of the other people that participated (there was 3-4 in total iirc), the rest have only been involved with the forum two other times, and both were for similar shenanigans, that I found out about at around the same time as this one. Hence why I'd be impressed: There are literally not people that anyone here knows.
well, i know one person knows them well enough that "the pear wiggler" is something in common between them. that was one of their usernames on the chat, and ive recently been temp banned here. in the ban message "naughty children get sent to the pear wiggler to attone for their crimes" was one of the description sentences.
