"Yeah, here," she said, reaching into her pocket, and tossing him a light grey cell phone with one hand, and controlling the air with her other.
The wind current moved from under the 'agents' legs and made them fall backwards. The students in the classroom were both shocked and amazed at what they were seeing but out of fear they stayed silent. One of the 'agents' pulled the trigger of their gun when they fell and the misfired shot flew straight into Lark's outstretched arm, stunning it. The feeling was like she had been tased in only her arm.
Catching the cell phone Bobby opened it up and hoped this time he could get past the jammer. Would he have enough time to mod the phone. How long were the goons down for?
Lark cried out as her arm was electrocuted. Wincing, she gestured to Bobby. "We should go!" (Is Victoria still in?)
(Oh man, I've been absent from this thread and I don't know what to do... Maybe I'll have her run into Lark or Kara.)
Just then, Viktoria burst into the room. She didn't immediately notice other people, but once she did, she recognized Lark, "You! And other person... What's happening?!"
"We need to leave! Now!" Lark said, and she moved, leaping over the bodies, remaining in the air perhaps a little too long, and as she hit the ground, the storm broke. Intense wind and rain swam into the open window, and Lark immediately put her hand to her head, groaning as she did so. "Come on.." she said to Bobby, her voice significantly less strong than it was a moment ago. (Are we waiting on anyone?)
As thunder and lighting lit up the sky and rain assaulted the ground students began to freak out about the sudden storm. Suddenly a bolt of lightning struck one of the gunships and forced it to drop to the ground. The 'Agents' heard the crash and simultaneously left the building, leaving the students, Lark, Bobby, Viktoria and Kara alone. The transport ship began to leave, heading north.
Bobby finished with the phone and dialed 911 again. "Hey I think running would be a bad idea. If anything we need to capture one of the goons so we can get real government agents to work with us. You know evidence we aren't crazy." He and the other girl showed off way too much. The need proof that they didn't cause this trouble. That was his thought at least.
"I suppose," Lark said, desperately trying to pull in the storm as her head throbbed with pain. "First, though, shouldn't we try to meet up? Kara is around here somewhere, and then... there was another boy. Last I saw him, he was being dragged. Kara and I were trying to locate everyone before we did anything.." She looked down at the ground, "I guess I kinda messed that up."
"That would either be Jared, or someone else with powers I haven't met yet."The last few times the phone worked faster. Either he messed up this time or it was taking longer because it was getting around the jam this time. "Bobby. Shape Shifter."
Kara had heard the crash, and now she saw the ship semi-crash. "well, I think it's time to go back in, then....." she would once again head to the school and phase through the wall
Lark paused for a moment distracted by the whisps of air surrounding everyone. She refocused, and smiled. "I'm Lark. Air manipulation or something like that."
It worked! Thank god! Now unless the bad guys have some sort of reconstruction ray the condition of the school should be enough to get the FBI or some big government agency involved. But right now the police would do. "There have been shots fired at this location." [What's the name of the School?]
