So I'm curious. I have seen a ton of Epic Power Beat Down vids as well as Rainbow Dash vs. Starscream and it got me thinking...who would win if it ever came to a fight between some of our favorite ponies? So, let's start. Celestia vs. Twilight Who would win and why? P.S. I decided to do this is for fun and also because I am bored out of my mind...
Celestia, fo sho. Twilight may be uber powerful, but I bet you Celestia has plenty of tricks up her sleeve that Twilight has only heard of. Not to mention, Celestia managed to rule over a kingdom by herself for a thousand years. Twilight has barely even had her alicorn magic for a couple years.
Well there's not reason for them to fight... but... Despite the fact that Celestia hasn't done anything to show her power in the show... I still say Celestia. Twilight still has A LOT to learn about magic.
I'm going to go against the flow and say Twilight. Let's face is Chrysi beat Tia and Twi beat Chrysalis. Tia may have been the big dog once but I think her powers are waning while Twilights are waxing.
Actually, Shining Armor and Cadence beat Chrysalis using the Power of Love™. Chrysalis, as she said herself, only managed to beat Celestia because Shining's love for Cadence was so strong that feeding on it gave her incredible power.
This question actually shouldn't even be asked, but sadly i can totally see the writers making Twilight the winner. She couldn't even defeat Starlight Glimmer, but who cares?

I think for Celestia vs Twilight all on her own Celestia would probably win, as she has indeed years more experience. IMO the more interesting question is Celestia vs Mane six
