I was under the impression that this site was supposed to be free of certain things. Currently Saberscratch88's avatar is the ass of a anthropomorphic Vinyl Scratch in a pair of panties. Is that really acceptable here?
I do see the consurn, but I also do agree that as long as there isn't any explicit nudity, it should be fine. Trust me, there are sites that are way more hard assed than this place that'll tell you to change your image for having an image of a character that is being slightest bit suggestive. I've been in one. In fact it was the very first forum I was in. The owner was fun and did like to do mean spirited humor, but was very serious with the rules and didn't allow anything suggestive.
I recall some older previous members having similarly suggestive avatars. It's largely up to the moderators and administrators to differentiate between explicit material and vaguely suggestive material.
It has been changed now but I did see what was being discussed, however I think my sensibilities remain intact.
Appearently it is.. And thank you to all who supported me, butt i was approached by a mod to change it.
After you had the panty one Cerali had a suggesting one that she uses as a sig image at PT. I was somewhat afraid it become a trend so that's why I made the topic.
Firstly, no. No you didn't need to make a thread about it. If you have THAT much of an issue with it, message one of the staff. That's pretty much better than indirectly pubically ridiculing someone via a thread you decided to create. Secondly, you underestimate the staff here at Everypony then. We all can see people's avatars here. There's no way a staff member would not of seen Saber's avi. It's ultimately up to staff if a avi image should be changed or not, not us as members.
I do believe there is a rule also about creating threads to call out specific members. member specific issued should be resolved privately or through the staff.
Right, I think the point of the thread has been addressed and there's not much more reason to post in it. No reason to create drama over something so small. ~Thread Locked~
