What are some names you refer to Celestia with, other than her given name? I've come across Sunbutt, Sunny, Tia, Lesti. And a few not appropriate here.
Sunbutt and Tia are the most common I've seen. I've also seen her called Celly or Celie quite a few times.
How about Molly? Wait. Can't talk about that one. I go with Sunbutt actually. Tia never did it for me.
I've been addicted to the use of Sunbutt. I only call her by her proper name for serious talks about the show or fan works.
Well, it depends on perspective and context. I don't personally use that name, but I have seen it used.
Celestia is a cartoon horse! Saying that calling her sunbutt is sexist is like saying that it's racist to call people 'Gamers' for playing games.
You do realize how stupid you sound right now, right? The nickname sunbutt is referring to the cutiemark. It's not demeaning her flanks, it's not picking on her gender. It's giving an nickname based on the observation of her having a sun for a cutiemark. What is so hard to understand about that? Not to mention that raising the sun is her main job, barring her place as Princess of Equestria. Thus, the reason why I used my analogy in the previous post. Also, do you think bronys and casual fans of the show would use the nickname if it was meant to demean her? I know there are Celestia haters out there, but I dought anyone would purposely demean her. Even if there was a word to, she is fictional. Getting butthurt over a colorful cartoon horse being given a nickname is the most childish thing you can do. It just shows you care too much about nitpicking over stupid details rather than enjoying it.

If you have a problem with each other or with the nickname with the horse, drag it to PM or drop it. Namecalling, as well, is not necessary to either side. Unless you have more nicknames to post, you have no reason to stay in this thread.
I created this thread to learn if any other nicknames are in use. Not to have myself or those I consider friends, cussed at, trolled, bullied or other. I wanted knowledge which as a human, I am inheritantly entitled to. I will not stand for cussing or bullying. Enough is enough. I see one more derogatory message in here about another member and I will have the thread deleted. And the one who made the derogatory statement, will be reported.
