That is completely fabricated. Cybertronian metals are completely different then those of earth. It's a living metal. That why we're able to heal over time. Repairs are needed for major damage, but lets say Little Prime stabbed my foot. I don't have to weld the hole closed, in a week it will be gone. Now there are other realities out there were Cybertonians aren't made of the same materiel, but metal shavings are a sign of illness more often than not.
