Gale wasn't there to see what happened. But the only thing she heard was a bunch of gates and cells opening. "*squee!* *squee!* *squee!* *squee!* *squee!* *squee!* *squee!* *squee!* *squee!* !" she shouted as she looked around. Thinking of what to do.
Ari seemed to be concentrating, before looking at Gale, "I heard eight cells open. Unfortunately, we don't know which one. Let's try to find safety... And for God's sake, try to be quiet!"
"Well do YOU have any ideas On where to hide?!" her outburst was nothing like her. After her fit she immediately blushed out of embarrasment."S-sorry. I didn't mean to do that..."
Mark got up, dazed as he had ringing in his ears. He looked around seeing all of the dead bodies, and his first instinct, was to run and hide for now. He had never been in this sort of situation, sure, he's had to shoot a man or two before, but nothing like this. He ran through the corridors as the more troops would pass by him, running at their fullest to stop and capture any SCP they come cross.
(I apologize. I have been busy lately.) "Well, maybe we should find a way outside. Although, in all this confusion, it's difficult to remember where we are."
((Sorry, I is busy)) People would rush pass the two women, from scientists to troops and guards, an explosion taking place down the hall they were heading. There was what appeared to be an odd dark grey creature just standing there, staring, its small stubby arms reaching out, it legs matching the arms. It just stood there... staring, waiting for something, yet as someone would blink it got closer without moving any body parts. Mark would run to another hall, seeing a dead SCP amongst the body of troops, either ripped apart or mauled to death. He ignored this though and would run past the bodies, his only objective was to get to a safe area, for that matter, he did not want to die, he was afraid, like any other human being.
(is it cool if i bring in SCP-12? I'm just asking.) She ran off without Ari in a blind panic, hoping she would follow. As she ran past the sculpture creature, seeing a pile of lifeless bodies, all of them with heads twisted at a humanly impossible degree. As she ran past she didn't realize the Sculpture had begun to follow.
Ari remained a calm composure, yet inwardly was freaking out. She followed in the direction Gale went, with a quick-paced walk. She had hoped to find other survivors.
Panicked, she ran down a flight of stairs that seemed to bea room containing an SCP but she didn't notice which nor did she care. After she made it down she flopped down onto the floor, hugging her knees to her chest. "I can't believe this is happening..." she shut her eyes tight and when she opened them again she saw the stone monstrosity standing almost just above her. After experiencing many near death experiences during her time working with the foundation she no longer feared death, from an SCP that is. "Go on then. Do it. Snap my neck. I don't even want to to deal with this hellhole anyways. Just kill me already." she shut her eyes tight, waiting for that sharp sting of pain and then that sweet relief. But it never came and it never happened. She looked up and saw it had backed up rather than attack. "Why...didn't you kill me?" she blinked a few times and saw it had carved a small message into the wall. "Crunch too good for you." she simply stared at the message, still sitting on the floor as the sculpture stood next to its small carved message. (decided to improvise.)
Mark would run until he stopped dead in the middle of the hall, leaning against the wall, panting. He hated this, he was scared to die. Why? Of all days why did this happen today? He didn't understand one bit of why he was scared, then again, he was human, fear is apart of everyone. He got up, pulling himself together he shook it off mentally, needing to find a way out for this matter. As everyone traveled or came in contact, the entire facility shook violently as the lights began to dim before shutting of, or the light bulbs exploded on their own. The facility was dark now, select few rooms still having their lights, or down the halls with very few lights flickering or completely active. All rooms were open now, all prisons were unleashed, screaming from distance can be heard, however these screams were inhuman, slow, and loud.
Arietta gazed arpud worriedly before looking in the direction of Gale, "Get back here before I leave you!"
(i completely forgot about this.) Gale slowly began to walk towards Ari,until all the lights went out, except for the one inside SCP-012's chamber. Gale whirled around and saw the door open. As if unconsciously, she slowly began walking toward the piece.
Ari growled in frustration as she looked around. "No way am I going down there..." She took a step towards the hallway in search of help. "Hello...?!"
