"I wanna meet her," Raven said excitedly. "If I learned anything from Maya, it's how to roll, and that Luna's best princess!"
"It's seven-thirty," Nightshade said. "The opening bands will start at eight and play 'till nine-thirty. Raven's on right after." She headed for the door. "I'll invite the princess... and her guards... in. If she decides to visit the bar, I expect everypony to treat her with the respect she deserves. Oh... and don't mess with the Night Guards. Just... don't."
Raven nodded. "Course not. I'm not that crazy." Asmo jumped back over the counter and landed flank first on the ground. "Kay... I'm drunk enough for this now."
Five minutes later, Silver walked into the bar, followed closely by two other Night Guards. He quickly scanned the room, his gaze lingering on Asmodeus, before giving a quick nod. "All clear." "Of course it is," the Princess of the Night said quietly as she walked in. "There are none here who mean us harm. Or, for that matter, are capable of doing us harm."
"Good evening, everypony. Miss Nightshade suggested that my guards and I might enjoy visiting this establishment." She looked at Raven. "Is this the filly who will be singing tonight?"
"Princess Luna... yeah, I'm her." Raven trembled for a second at her presence before walking up to her and bowing. Asmo waved at Luna. "Hiiiii, Moonbutt!"
Luna winced. "Oh dear." Nightshade winced. "Oh *squee!*." In an instant, Silver had Asmo pinned the floor. "You will watch your tongue," he snarled, "or I will cut it from your head." Luna ignored the confrontation, and took a seat beside Raven. "You are too young for this place," she commented.
*Hologram flickers and sparks like an old car engine trying to start and turn over. Appearing and disappearing* (Snippets are heard) Oh come on...........you.........work.........five....minutes..........why............now........
Zeran frowned at Silver. "come on, she's drunk. besides, lots of people call her that. and she isn't angry!" she said exasperatedly
Raven sighed. "I know, Princess..." Asmo cackled. "Strong pony, pinning a thousand pounds. Violent, too. And... old."
"Silver, let him up." Silver obeyed the princess instantly. "Strong, violent, old. You describe him well, Asmodeus. Could I ask you to perhaps address me by my name, though?" She turned back to Raven. "Why, then, is a filly just on the verge of marehood spending her days in a tavern?"
"Well..." Raven looked up at her, ears flopped to the side. "My mo...my friend owns this bar. Thought she'd let me hang around with her, but she's not working today." Asmo stood up. "Sure thing, Luna. Should be easy, as long as the attack dog doesn't bite my throat out."
Saber walked in from cleaning the kitchen and laughed towards Luna. "Oh Asmo, you dont really think Id fall for that?" Then she noticed Asmo. "I.. I mean..."
