Raven chuckled lightly. "Really, if you think that's too honest, you might not like my opening song. I don't mention it by name, but it's about Griffonstone Records."
Saber checked the time to make sure there was enough before she went on a rant. She decided to let someone else decide if she had enough time for it because not everyone wants to hear this stuff.
Zeran smiled and leaned back in her seat. "no problem. that's why I'm here anyways, honestly. it's nice to just talk"
"Im glad you understand" she said with a smile. "Now if you can excuse me for a moment.." Saber stood, hoping she would excuse her.
"Yes." she nodded before turning around. She cleared her throat for everypony's attention. "First Id like to ask the Princess to excuse any language, or phrases that may come out of my mouth. That also means I would like the guard to excuse me." (That includes Tyro, Admins, and Mods for anything I dont realize is offensive. I will try to keep it minimal.) "Raven, I heard what you said about me wanting sex for sex. You are not wrong that I like sex, but thats not why I said what I did. I said it because I feel for you. In all honesty, I do want to do things with everypony in this room, extremely so with the princess. Guards, please dont kill me.." Saber held a defensive hoof towards the guards. "I dont want to come between you and Night, but if it doesnt work between you, give me a chance."
Raven sighed. "Saber. I... can't. You're not quite what I'm into. Sorry." Asmo raised an eyebrow at Saber. "So what, that thing with Maya and Dusty didn't work?"
"I love Maya and Dusty, its just that they're more like family in the Egyptian way. Friend zoning really played a part against it. Maya might not be phased by what I just said, but I hope Dusty understands." she turned back to Raven. "So, I dont even get a small chance?"
"The Ancient Egyptians from Earth have a tendancy to swing towards incest." she told him before once again turning to Raven.
"And I thought I lived under a rock. Joe Dirt is a fictional character from a movie, but he has real meaning in some of his phrases, and phrases used around him."
"It wasnt immensely popular, but it was popular enough for a second one to be made. Anyway! Not the point here."
"Maybe we should just... oh, hi!" Raven smiled wide as Maya walked in the door. "Hey... hope you have adult supervision." Maya was clearly bummed, ears pinned to the side. She gave Raven a weak hug before walking and sitting at the bar, not seeming to notice Luna. "Hey, Sabe. Whiskey, please. On the rocks." "Maya?" Raven tilted her head, worried.
