Star comes out of her room. "Okay, while digging through some text books, I found something that might help your issue. It's a forgotten elixir from Star Swirl's time, and it requires some ingredients from the Deep Everfree. I might need an escort there. Want to come with?"
"Okay then, let's gather some supplies then head out." After about an hour or two at the market the pair headed off into the woods. "What we need is a rare Nightshade Flower from the depths of the Everfree. I can use my magic to project fear onto lesser creatures to scare them away, but bigger and smarter ones might need more... Convincing."
"That's the spirit! But make sure you don't burn down the forest, at least until we reach the depths, where some weird magic protects the trees. If we keep going forward at this pace we should be there in about an hour."
"And I'm not just saying this out of my vendetta against them. We can't stir them up, or else they could retaliate against Equestria tenfold."
After reaching the deep forest, and no signs of changelings, Star decided to stop for a break. "No changelings. That's good. But still nothing larger than a pony. That's what bothers me. Anyway, want to stop for a lunch break?"
Star took some sandwiches out of her saddlebag. "That bothers me. Maybe we should eat in shifts, you know, to watch for danger."
Star takes out a bit from her saddlebag. "Heads I take first shift, tails, you go." She tossed the coin with her magic, and it landed on tails. She sighed in relief. "Okay. Just check around the area. I'll take the next one when I'm done eating."
Star ate quickly, finishing her meal in around 10-20 minutes. She got up and called out for Solon. "Hey! Solon! I'm done! Come back here and then I'll do my shift!"
"Oh, trust me I will." Star said as she got up and began to venture just a little bit deeper, just to check for potential threats.
