"I'm not sure. These pods are usually magic resistant, and when they transport us we'll be wearing a ring that impairs our magic. We'll have to see."
"in that case....." he growled, his horn glowing, getting brighter and brighter as the inner layer of the pod began to glow. "why use magic directly on it when you can just heat the air?" he laughed
Star noticed a much taller figure on the ground. Definitely a changeling. Star gasped. "Chrysalis... Here to get us, I suppose."
"That brainwashing business that they do is like a bunch of whispers in your skull forcing you to comply. If you just tune them out, you'll be able to resist it better. Here she comes, act calm."
The pods slowly descended until they were at Chyrsalis' level. "Why if it isn't Star." She said, in a very snide tone. "And you brought a friend! How nice of you!"
"Hmm? What was that? Would you like to repeat that for your Queen?" Chrysalis asked, looking Solon in the eye with pure malice.
he looked at her with every bit as much malice. "I'm bored and absolutely furious. I want to kill something. have any ideas?"
"Maybe that negative attitude will go away with a little... 'Therapy'" Chrysalis grinned wickedly, and her horn glowed a dark green, as did Solon's. She shot a beam of energy into his horn, and let her brainwashing do its magic.
(I'd say if you're untrained in resisting it you'll almost certainly fall under, but if you know atleast a little bit about it you have a better chance of staying you. Do what you like here, resist or fall under, I don't mind.)
(okay.) he growled, his horn glowing as the edges of his pod caught on fire. "how about you? you seem like you'd be fun to kill" he snarled
"We have a feisty one here. Guards, take him to the conversion cocoons, maybe he'll become more docile there." Star looked in Solon's direction, legitametly worried. The cocoons were extremely durable. The couldn't be burnt easily. Solon's pod started descending into the depths. She just hoped that his flames would burn through the pod before they put him in a cocoon.
Solon grinned as the bottom of the pod melted, allowing him to teleport away. "now, to figure out how to save Star....." he muttered
