I have a PhD in physics - I studied explosions, and it's not as interesting as you might think unless you're a mathematics wonk. My thesis is a great cure for insomnia, or as a doorstop. Now I write code for a living - being a techie has its advantages. I make music - styles vary according to my mood, but there's always bass. Lots and lots of bass. I occasionally ride insane distances on a mountain bike with no gears. I have the social skills of a brick - I'm hoping that being here will help me address that. - I lived in Japan for 5 or 6 months doing a project for school but can't speak Japanese very well (though knew it second most out of people from my school on this trip). - I've trekked to the top of mount fuji during Oban week -I have been to Comiket in Tokyo (Odaiba specifically) but did not wait in the infamous line to get new Doujin releases (if you come mid day you can walk right in and still get all kinds of amazing fan art and games) -I've been to a lot of conventions of different types, but never a pony con yet (I would love it though ^_^ ) -I used to fence sabre, though am not good at any sport -I also did Tae Kwon Do -I study computer science, virtual reality, and technical video game development (the last being my primary academic interest) -I've gotten to use the Oculus Rift, Project Morpheus (thanks to an awesome Professor who knows someone at Sony), and a few other VR/AR headsets including one hooked up so you could walk around within a certain range). -I've done a tiny bit of very amatuer 3D animation, and from pre-school until late high school thought I wanted to be a computer animator (I'm still basically in love with the art of animation itself even if I'm not that that artistic personally) -I'm a vegitarian and decided to become one when I was 4 even though both of my parents eat meat and I did not have any close friends who were vegetarians
Necrobump! Though I do write a lot for my character sheets, I never give everything in the sheets. I do know exactly where Asmodeus and Skydust came from, and I know why Maya caught Discord's attention. This is mainly to put the brakes on metagaming.
I have a very weird music taste. One day I could be listening to Breaking Benjamin (hard rock), but the next day I could be listening to Spawn of Possession (technical death metal) or Tech N9ne (hip hop). A cursory glance at my Spotify playlist would determine that. I play guitar, drums and bass. I usually tend to play retro video games. I am on the autism spectrum, asperger's syndrome to be precise. A lot of people seem to think I'm older than I really am, usually by a decade. Despite being British, I would rather drink coffee than tea (pls toaster dont kill me ;_; ) My favourite band of all time is Linkin Park (sadly, this does mean I like the song Crawling unironically), and has been since I was 9. Some people have told me I can do a decent impression of Fluttershy, which is unexpected, because I have quite a deep voice for my age. When I began making music in 2011, I started out by making electronic music, but I then switched to metal in 2012.

Fun facts about yours truly: I'm all about machine learning and data processing, particularly when applied to the synthesis of art. Generally exploiting loopholes and bugs is fun too I guess. I was a picky eater when I was a child, but I now have a voracious appetite and will eat just about anything. I have strong intellectual and mechanical aptitude. I have been reading since the age of four. I am a gun enthusiast, but I shatter the stereotype by not being remotely conservative (I am a socialist). I am physically strong, even though I am a bit out of shape. I am fiercely introverted. I am bisexual, but I have been avoiding relationships my whole life, and I will continue to do as such. Even though I live alone, I ended up renting out a two bedroom apartment so I could turn the other bedroom into my personal library. From what I have been told, I have an intimidating appearance. I am bibulous in nature, although I don't drink nearly as much as I did in the past. I dealt with major depressive disorder in the past, but I made a complete recovery with medical treatment. I am doing quite well, even after "tapering" off of the medication. I am a guy who loves to wear nail polish on his fingernails and toenails. I somehow survived going to college on a full-time basis while also working on a full-time basis, and I am toying with the idea of doing this again for two more years to earn a higher degree. I am a furry, but I don't really identify with the fandom, nor do I have any involvement in any fandom-related activities. I am an atheist. I have carpal tunnel syndrome in both hands and wrists.
I'm in university studying physics I enjoy programming a lot, been doing it since I'm like 13 or so When programming I enjoy web-dev and working super-low level (think asm) I love, and do, server management I have more than 35 rubiks cubes I figured out how to solve each of my cubes on my own My personal best on solving those is something like 26 seconds, I looked up some speedsolving after I figured it out myself. With my own method my record was something like 42 seconds. I also have a creative side, resulting in vectors, croshet ponies, walls drawn to and whatnot I create knex stuff, though haven't had a good idea recently I have a Youtube channel I have a website - since I was 15 (I think)! I do quite some random stuff IRL I am quite shy but once you get me talking I can't stop
- i am what some would call eccentric - am somewhat proficient at making EDM and specialize in chiptune - Super Smash Bros enthusiast and have mastered Lucario - i'm pretty good at the Hotline Miami games - not a meaningful quote generator but i have my moments - advanced skill in traversal parkour - and i have mad computer "programming" skills

(Ohio, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and South Carolina.) I tend to be a little harsh at times. I'm strongly an introvert, and probably a bit of an extrovert. I used to be a furry.
