Greetings everypony! My name is Renegade the Unicorn, and I am a total n00b to Everypony. WHO AM I? The first thing I think we should get out of the way is the fact that I am autistic. More specifically, I have Aspergers, a form of high fuctioning autism characterized by verbal and physical tics, lack of social skills, and near-obsessive fixations. However, unless you knew me IRL, you wouldn't exactly know I was autistic unless I told you. You'd simply think I was some weird jerk. Moving on, what else is there to know? Well, I am also a pansexual cisgender male. This means that in terms of affection, my love for someone is not bound to gender identity. Cisgender means that I identify as the sex I was born as, in this case male. I have recently come out, to mostly positive reception. In terms of interests, I am an absolute nerd. Besides ponies, I enjoy science fiction and fantasy, having been an avid D&D player for some years as of now. One of my favorite films is The Rocky Horror Picture Show, specifically because of how cheesy it is. I also enjoy reading comic books and pulp novels in my spare time. MY HISTORY WITH THE BRONY FANDOM I was introduced to the fandom back in early 2011, when I was in middle school. At first, I thought nothing of it. Me and my friend (who was also a brony) would joke around. Eventually, however, in the hiatus between A Canterlot Wedding and Season 3, I actually started to watch the show and became more and more interested. For a time afterward, my obsession became annoying to those around me, which led to a lot of the inital negative reception. In response, my interest in the show waned for a while, until it stopped completely. For the past several months now (specifically when Season 4 started), I've become a fan of MLP once again, but not as fervent as I once was. MY OPINION ON THE WHOLE "BEST PONY" DEBATE I have no opinion on who "best pony" is. I like all of the characters equally. I do, however, have a favorite pony.
