    We know that the main theme of this season is exploration, and thanks to the offical map being updated and expanded last season, we know that dragons have their own lands south of Equestria.

    Maybe the dragons in the Gauntlet cheat, but Spike manages to win by playing fair, and teaches the dragons about playing fair and friendship.
