Now say there are two buses one with 30 O.A.Ps and one with 25 school children, would this still be the case that the needs of the many should come before the needs of the few if you could only save one bus even though the few logically have a longer life left and could contribute to society more?
If the children have more to contribute to society as a whole, then wouldn't it be fair to say that the world needs them more than it needs the retirees?
Yeah, you're right. By saving the children I guess I am fulfilling the needs of the only one who counts and that is me, since it is Myself I must live with.
you could argue that by saving the ones who can contribute to society, you are fulfilling the needs of the many.
Well, in my experience I've noticed that school children walk on the bicycle paths more than old people. So I'm going to save the old people.
