He drinks more of the water, before putting the glass down, pointing at Az's chest with a hoof, "... Intentions change, but the intentions are only light or shadow. The things you do might blur the lines, but your intention isn't blurry."
Berrilyn pondered that for a moment, then nodded. "Joe is a nice name" she said, then looked at the stallion. "Light and Shadow are not the driving forces behind intention for most, though many think they are. the driving forces are good and evil, which are often mistakenly equated with Light and Shadow"
Violia quietly listened to the conversations as she drank her cider and she found out interesting things about ponies here. Here mind wondered about how things use to be before she became a guard for the underworld. It was interesting batting dark forces with her friend Esi. She looks around and soon notices Azrael watching everypony. He must the security here, no question. He does look like the kinda stallion to kick ponies out no problem if they cause trouble.
The bronze stallion was now sitting back at the bar counter, his stare hadn't really changed at all. His focus this time was just on the drinks in front of him.
Violia reluctantly raised her hoof and held it out to Saber's. Violia blushes as Maya compliments her name.
"Always cool to have a new face around here," Maya said. "Just try not to break anything or be a jerk, and we'll get along fine."
Violia smiles some. "Likewise. I-It's always nice to meet new ponies." She says, trying to sound more cheery about it. She was happy to know ponies around here, but it also is a case of getting to know them, that's something that takes time with her. She hears what Maya says and nods. "I'm not one to cause trouble. My job kind deals with those that do. Mostly from the unruly ends of the underworld." She says bluntly, sounding serious and less timid for that moment.
"Sounds like you'd get along with Az." She had clearly seen too much to be shocked. She turned to Berri. "Hey, you're new, too, right? Sorry, it's just.. lots of new ponies lately."
Violia looks to Maya and then to Azrael. "You mean the big guy watching everything over there?" She asks curiously.
"Damn. I was hoping for a normal pony for once. I swear Im the only normal pony around here..." Saber frowned. A few seconds later she went back to smiling. "Normal or not, youre one of us now."
