Van slowly shook his hoof, the same stare on his face that's been there the entire time he's been at the bar. "Nice to meet you."
Nightshade grinned and increased her own speed, pulling slightly ahead of Raven. ************************************* Winter walked into the bar, carrying a heavy burlap sack. She tossed it by the door and took a seat across from Silver, who nodded in greeting and returned to his drink.
Raven smirked and sped up, getting slightly ahead. "Welcome back," Azrael said to Winter. "I trust no explosives will be used in this visit?" Dusty nodded. "And you."
Mat looked at Dusty, waving a hoof, "Yo." The moment Dusty would look at Mat, Van would seemingly vanish again, this time standing next to the bag, staring at it.
Nightshade matched Raven's speed, climbing slowly, then went into a sudden dive that nearly doubled her pace. *************************** "None that I plan on using here," she said, adjusting her cloak to conceal a bandolier of crystal grenades. "Sorry again about all that."
"No you don't!" Raven dove and started catching up with her. Azrael nodded. "Right. Well, not that it pertains to you in any way, but though our owner may not be that crazy about laws, she prefers you have certain licenses before bringing weaponry." Dusty whispered something to Maya, covering his mouth with a hoof. She snickered in response. "He so is."
*A weathered note, charred and ripped appears.* *"If you are reading this, it means something has happened to either me or one of my kin. Things are in a state of disarray, and I need your help. My home is falling apart, and I am not around or able to put it in order. This note is intended for Etheran or another being able to put things right. Thank you."*
Mat looks at Maya and Dusty, "Hmm, what are you talking about?" Van continued to just blankly stare at the bag.
Nightshade went into a nosedive, flaring her wings a split second before striking the dirt. Not slowing, she skimmed the grass at a speed that left a cloud of dust in her wake. *********************** Silver reached over and unhooked Winter's bandolier, slipping the grenades into his own bag. "I have the necessary licenses." Winter scowled. "You're still an old stick in the mud, love." "I know."
Raven's mind instantly went to, oh *squee!*, she's hurt. She dashed forward to check on her. Azrael nodded. "I thought as much." "Just a thing," Maya told Mat.
Mat shrugged, taking a look over at Zeran, getting a smirk. He slowly got out of his seat, walking over to her, taking the seat next to her, looking at her with a smirk, "Hey good lookin', what's cookin'? ... I'm sorry, that was horrid."
Mat shrugs, "... Honestly, I don't know what came out of my mouth there... I don't really even hit on anypony." He puts his hooves on his head, "... At least not like that."
Nightshade celebrated internally at pulling off a perfect Appleloosa Grass Cutter, and looked back to see Raven's reaction to the trick. Seeing a worried look on the Bat's face, she slowed down and pulled up, meeting Raven in the air. "You look upset. What's wrong?"
